Kara paces the courtyard, her eyes flitters to the room where she held her sister captive. It's been a day since her sister woke up, Klaus elsewhere, probably drowning his sorrows alongside his adopted son across the river. No doubt lamenting the fact that she would bring him unending torment If he harmed their father.

Said father was blissfully unaware of his daughters troubles or his idiotic son plotting his death.

A sigh broke past her lips as she grabbed the decanter and poured a glass full of bourbon, with a single swig she gulped it down before pouring another.

"Not even noon yet and here you are drinking like a fish. Something on your mind sister?" The voice dragged a unwilling smile from her. She turned to face the mischievous bastard leaning against the wall with a smirk on his face.

"Kol"

Kol stretches his arms and did a little turn "In the flesh." He said before closing the distance between his sister and himself. He grabbed the glass from her hand and put it down before pulling her into a hug.

"Thank you." He whispered quietly

Karas eyes fluttered shut, the familiar smell of cedar wood lingering in her nose , something undeniably kol "I have missed you more than words could ever describe." She said tightening her grip around him. The embrace lasted Another moment before they both pulled away with small smiles.

"Now that I'm here, tell me what troubles you so sister? That you've taken to drinking before seven?"

Kara sighed stepping out of reach and grabbed her glass "many things. Where is Claire?"

"Oh she'll be right in, pretty strong friend you've got, though she reminds me of someone."

Kara smirked "Her ancestor?"

"Morgana." Kol snorted "of course, I should've known." He said said shaking his head "Now.. are you going to tell me what trouble has found our family now or will you continue to deflect?"

Kara pulled a tissue from her pocket and wiped her nose, she glanced at the blood, it was getting darker by the day. "I'd rather do this once and —" she paused when Hayley walked in followed by a very tense, slightly bruised Finn.

"I found him." Hayley commented "He tried refusing .." She explained

Kara grinned a little "Well.. now we just need a few more others and It'll be a party." She said ignoring Finn "He didn't hurt you did he?" She asked Hayley.

Hayley shrugged "Nothing I couldn't handle. Though it does seem like he's getting weaker."

Finn grunted "Mother put a limit on my time in this body, if I ever went against her wishes. which I'm assuming I'm reaching quite soon."

Kol barked a laugh "Oh that's priceless, the loyal acolyte earning mothers wrath."

Finn snarled "I see you're back to normal"

Kol patted his body contently "Mm feels good being back in me own body, that Kaleb chap wasn't too bad but I prefer this handsome mug."

Kara wrapped her arm around Hayley's waist "Enough. As amusing as this Is." She said ending the spat starting between Finn and Kol "we have more important things to deal with." She glanced at Finn, her eyes softening "Though you have my apologies brother, mothers' a right twat something I did warn you of."
