Hayley glanced at her fiancé before looking back to the book in front of her. "You have something on your mind, tell me."
Hayley snorted softly "I could say the same thing." She shot back with a dry smile.
"Perhaps, my mind has always been busier than a New York subway."
Hayley sighed , she stared at the words and letters on the page that seem to jumble around on the page, she rubbed her eyes before giving up and shutting the book "When do you want to get married?"
Kara looked away from the grimoire she'd been studying "I'd like to get married once we've brought Kol back."
Hayley nodded slowly, she understood that but since returning from the bayou, things seemed tense around the compound, it could be because Niklaus was not only upset but absolutely livid with his sister and her insistence that Ansel meant no harm to them nor to Hope. "That would be great, when are you planning on getting him back?"
Kara closed the grimoire and leaned back against the headboard "I plan to go to the old witches house tomorrow, I'll be taking Davina along. She's able to see Kol's spirit. There's something I need to get before we can do the actual ritual."
"And what about our ritual? Anything we need?" Hayley continued.
Kara chuckled softly "No, I don't think, most the things we need are herbs and easily found, there's one part of the ritual where we have to spend an entire week in the wolf, or in this case the bayou, in our wolf forms.." she trailed off looking at Hayley "Then there's also the fact that we have to smoke a certain root and bare our souls to each other, spill every single secret.."
Hayley tensed "That's necessary?"
Kara hummed "It Is, what? You've got a secret husband I don't know about?"
Hayley scoffed rolling her eyes "Please, I think if anything you'll have a secret wife stashed somewhere, you've lived for centuries after all."
"Yet in a thousand years I've never truly fallen in love until I met you." Kara shot back with a charming grin.
Hayley didn't respond immediately but her heart skipped a beat, her stomach did that annoying thing where it felt like she was nervous or anxious, but it was butterflies, a effect Kara only brought on. She moved to straddle her fiancé, throwing her arms over Kara's shoulders, she smiled softly "Yeah?"
Kara's violet gaze stared right back into the gorgeous green of her lover, even now she could see the small flecks of gold, it was pretty, and at the chance of sounding cheesy, she swore she could get lost in Hayley's eyes. "Yeah" she echoed quietly.
The butterflies threatened to turn into a herd of elephants stomping around. "You're a sap."
Kara shrugged it off "I suppose, only for you though."
Hayley didn't wait any longer, nor could she, she caught Kara's lips into a kiss, the kiss started off slow, gaining momentum, their lips moved haunts each other with practiced ease.
The brunette licked Kara's bottom lip, Kara's lips parted allowing her the space to push her tongue through, with each second the kiss went on the more frantic and desperate it became.
Hayley's hips bucked, earning a groan and moan from the woman beneath her. She smiled into the kiss and slowly pulled away when she felt the hardening erection between her thighs "Someone's horny."
