"Freya's sent another letter."

Kara doesn't look up from her painting "Mm..same old?" She asks dryly not at all interested in her family's latest drama. The few months they've spent away from New Orleans as a married couple and parents had been the most peaceful, Hayley had definitely been smiling more and Hope was an overall joy.

Hayley laughed a little walking over to her wife ,plopping down onto her lap. She glanced at the latest painting, it was Hope and her enjoying the gorgeous beach near their villa.

"You could sound more enthusiastic, she is your sister."

Kara hummed "and what has Niklaus done this time?" She asks flatly not at all sounding enthusiastic.

Hayley rolled her eyes waiting for Kara to put down the pallet and brushes. "she says Davinas' been voted in as the regent, the gap between the vampires and witches grows more everyday.

The wolves are well, actually the wolves are on the best behavior, but Klaus did something to anger Elijah, killing his girlfriend or something. They're at odds."

Kara rolled her eyes "Aren't they always at odds?"

Hayley shrugged "Kol's been enjoying his freedom and no doubt annoying Klaus to no end according to Freya."

Kara sighs "Well he no longer fears Niklaus will dagger him so good for him, has he gotten around to asking Davina out yet? Or are those two still uselessly dancing around each other ?"

Hayley glanced at the letter "Looks like it, but Freya is worried about Rebekah. And frankly so am I."

Kara scowled "Yes, since she left us last month, she'd usually check in every week, we haven't gotten a call for two weeks."

Hayley sighs leaning into Kara's hold "I'll call Freya and ask her to perform a locator spell." She paused putting down the letter "Now Hope is down for her nap so we have about two to three hours .. what would you like to do wife?"

Kara smirked at the suggestive tone "Well, I was thinking there is a new recipe I'd like to try out, would you like to join me in the kitchen?"

Hayley turned and straddled her wife , throwing her arms over Kara's shoulders "Well.. I was thinking.. maybe about trying something else out?" She murmurs placing kisses down Kara's jaw "Something much more physical.."

Kara plays dumb "A walk? We can't leave Hope alone."

Hayley groans annoyed "Okay, it was cute at first now you're just be thick."

Kara snorts a little squeezing Hayley's hips playfully "I know something else that's thick." She says mimicking an American accent.

Hayley starts laughing "Oh my god, don't ever say that again."

Kara smiled fondly, watching the love of her life laugh freely, Hayley notices it. "what?"

Kara shakes her head "Nothing."

Hayley gives her a look and after a moment Kara relents "I love you." She says softly and cups Hayley's cheek "I love everything about you, your laugh, your smile, your eyes.." she whispered "And I just find myself at a loss at times, that someone so amazingly perfect loves me in return is all."
