The bayou

Kara stands on the the edge of the lake, staring at the body shrouded in white floating on the small boat. She grabs her bow and notches it. Tears rolls down her cheeks as she performs the final funeral right.

Behind her , the wolves bow their heads, Klaus watches with a hardened expression.

Kara finally let's the lit arrow loose and watches it arch through the air and lands on the boat carrying her fathers body. The entire boat along with her fathers body bursts into flames..

A hand slips into hers squeezing it comfortingly. She doesn't say a word and takes her hand from Hayley's and speeds away.

Hayley watched Kara disappear with a heavy heart. She turns to see the rest of the Mikaelsons wear similar expressions.

Rebekah walks forward and smiles at her sister in law "She needs time, this is the second time she's lost her father ."

Hayley nods "Dahlia did this.." she muttered angrily "We need to kill that bitch."

Klaus hears the words and nods in agreement "We will, she will suffer for her actions." While the siblings discuss a way to deal with Dahlia, one doesn't participate, in fact he doesn't completely believe that Dahlia was at fault, or maybe she was but there was undeniable guilt in Kara's eyes. Kol breathed softly, if his suspicions were right, then things were worse then he feared.

Despite his thoughts he doesn't tell the rest of his siblings, if Kara was to blame he knew she' wasn't in her right mind.. and he wouldn't be the one to cast a stone not when he knew his older sister was possibly punishing herself worse than anyone could.

Camille's house

Kara lingered by the door of her friends home , she paused wondering whether this was a good idea or not, but she doesn't get to decide when the door opens.

"I've watched you'd standing there for a while, looked like you were caught in two minds. I decided to make it easier." Camille said with soft sympathetic smile "I'm sorry.. I heard about your dad."

Kara's forces a smile "One would think that living a thousand years makes you accustomed to grief."

Cami stood back and gestured with her head "Wanna come in and talk about it?"

Kara licks her lips and shakes her head "In afraid that's not the best idea at present." She denied politely "but I do have a question."

Cami raised a brow "You do?"

"If you were faced with an impossible choice, one no easier than the other , what do you do?" Kara asked softly

Cami blinked "I'm going to need more context."

Kara pursed her lips thoughtfully "If you had the opportunity to save your brother or your uncle and could only choose one, what would you choose?"

Camille's eyes widened "What's this about? Your crazy aunt ?"

Kara sighed "Niklaus told you"

Cami nodded "he did, he also said that she will stop at nothing to find and take your daughter."

Kara's jaw tensed "So you're saying that you'd choose neither?"

Camille eyes softened "I'm saying if I was offered the chance to save my twin and my uncle and could only choose one? I'd do everything in my power to save them both, because I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I chose one over the other."
