Audre and Mart reach Audre's ancestral home in Quezon.
There is Grams at the front house.
As they approach the house,
Grams: "I'm so glad that you two are finally here. Come! Come inside." (smiles)
Audre and Mart hug Grams.
Inside the house, Mart is introduced to Audre's sister, sister's husband, kids and helpers.
Mart: "Hello po, I am so glad to meet you all. I bought something lang po." (smiles and gives the flowers, and goods)
Ate: "How sweet of you, thank you for these." (smiles and receives)
Grams: "Okay, let's get you settled in your room muna. Then, after awhile, joins us for lunch, okay?"
Audre: "Yes, Grams." (smiles)
Audre leads the way to her room. Mart looks around and is happy to be there with her in their house.
Audre: "This is my room. So, since they knew that you are my boyfriend, so it means, we will just have one room. Right here." (smiles briefly)
Mart: "It's fine with me. As long as I am with you, and you like me being here." (smiles)
Ate: (knocks at the door) "Audreanna, halik na kayo, let's eat na."
Audre: "Yes, ate. Be there in a minute."
Lunchtime-
While they are settled and starts to eat,
Kuya: "What are your intentions to our sister, Mart?"
Audre: "Kuya. . ang aga ng tanong mo."
Mart: (smiles) "I am in love with her. I love her po. Sya lang po ang nakikita ko para sa akin,. I am praying na sya na po talaga. I am serious with her. I can only desire for her to be my wife someday."
Audre starts to blush.
Ate: "Ikaw ba e nagwowork na? O nag-aaral pa din?"
Mart: "Nag-aaral pa lang din po. Nasa 4th year na po ako sa course na BS Physical Therapy po." (smiles)
Grams: "Kung gusto mo ang apo ko, kaya mo ba syang alagaan hanggang sa huli? Ano ba ang pagkakilala mo kay Audre?"
Mart: "Opo, kaya ko po. Alam ko po ang mga napagdaan ni Audre noon, hindi ko po sasayangin ang pagkakataong ito na bilang ako po ang kasama nya sa buhay ngayon, hindi ko po sya papabayaan."
Kuya: "If you will start a family, paano mo sya bubuhayin?"
Mart: "Bukod po sa pag-asa ko na makakapagtapos po ako ng pag-aaral, at makahanap ng maayos na work, mayroon po kaming family business. We are into construction supplies po. My Uncle entrusted me po to handle some of our stocks in the business po."
Kuya: "I see."
Ate: "Papaano kayo nagkakilala nitong si Audre?"
Mart: "Nakilala ko po sya sa pinsan ko po, si Paolo. Tapos po, naging magkaibigan po kami, kasama po sina Paolo at Ayin po."
Audre: "Teka lang, hehe. Baka hindi na makakain si Mart po, sa dami nyo pong mga tanong." (smiles, but feels awkward)
Kuya: (ignores Audre) "Alam mo na mahalaga sa amin itong bunso namin. Ayaw namin sya masaktan. Sa totoo lang. Kaya sinisiguro ko lang, kung talaga bang karapat-dapat ka dito sa kapatid namin."
Mart: "Opo, naiintindihan ko po kayo. Alam ko po na we just met today, nagpapasalamat po ako na andito po ako at nakausap ko po kayo. I know I have to earn the trust of the family, please be assured po na nakahanda po ako, and hindi ko po kayo bibiguin. Mahal ko po sya."
Kuya: "Audre, sigurado ka na ba sa kanya?"
Audre: "Opo, kuya."
Kuya: "Alright, then. Mart, we welcome you to the family. From now on, kasama ka na sa amin. We will highly expect you to be present here in this family – from occasions, to even simple family gatherings."
Ate: "Audre, I am happy na finally, you found a new love. Kaya lang, nagtatampo ako sayo, kasi hindi mo na ako binabalitaan ng mga nangyayari sa'yo."
Audre: "Aahh, Ate, I'm sorry na. Na-busy lang ako" (feels awkward)
Ate: "Will talk about this later, alright? I just miss you bunso" (smiles)
Audre just nods and smiles, "I miss you too, ate."
After lunch, Mart walks towards the three siblings who are playing.
Mart: "Hi."
Sebastian: "Hello."
Mart: "What are you playing?"
Sebastian: "Dinosaurs."
Mart: "Ohh, do you know I have a story about dinosaurs."
Sebastian: "Ah-huh?"
Mart: "Yeah. Do you know that long time ago. . ." (he begins to tell story, while the three kids gather around him)
Looking from afar is Alesandra, just observing her kids with Mart. Audre walks in.
Audre: "Ate, im sorry" (hugs her big sis)
Ate: "I miss you, what happened? Care to share?" (hugs back)
Audre: "Ate, can I be honest with you? But please don't tell this to Grams and Kuya."
Ate: "Alright, alright. I promise"
Audre: "What you see between me and Mart, it's not all true."
