Today was game day against our rivals the West End High Bobcats. Dru and I had scouts coming from Georgia State and Bringston University so we had to be on point tonight. Everyone was at the peprally turnt and ready to play tonight. The cheerleaders we're doing their dance routine and I stared at Jaliyah the whole time. I never thought I would be in love or have a girlfriend right now but this relationship with Jaliyah was everything. Sleeping with her every night, watching her favorite movies and tv shows with her, showering with her, being myself around her was really everything I needed right now to keep me sane. I blew her a kiss as she performed and she did the same back. I love this girl man. Later, there's a game afterparty at Ricky's so me and the gang gon be swinging by there later after our big win to celebrate. Once the peprally was over Dru, Ky, Jaliyah and I went to AppleBees to grab something slight to eat before the game. We made it to AppleBees and walked inside. The host sat us at a table and we all looked at the menu.
" Hi my name is Faith, what kind of drinks can I get for you guys?" I heard a familiar voice say
I looked up and it was my ex Faith. I haven't seen this girl in months and I'm not gon lie she looks badder than before. Faith was brownskin, about 5"3, natural hair that stopped at her shoulders, thick as hell, and pregnant. WAIT PREGNANT? I looked Faith dead in the eyes and seen her eyes start to water. Kyah looked at me and then looked at Jaliyah. We all played the eye game just looking at each other until Dru broke the silence.
" Me and my girl will take a water with lemon. The 2 for $25 with the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp and spinach dip as an appetizer."
"And for you two" Faith said with a slight attitude
" Attitude... but we'll have the same thank you" Jaliyah said handing Faith the menus.
Faith rolled her eyes and left the table. Everyone at the table was quiet. Only Kyah and Dru knew that Faith was my ex. I didn't want to tell Jaliyah because it's old and she's crazy as hell. Jaliyah probably would beat my ass in this place and Faith's ass just because. My phone vibrated and I seen a message from Dru.
Brodie : the kid yours?
Me : FUCK NO BOY my pullout game strong as fuck 😂
" Here are y'alls drinks and appetizers. Anything I can get y'all while yall wait on your food?" Faith asked us
" No thank you, but congratulations on your baby. How far along are you?" Jaliyah asked Faith
I gulped and prayed she didn't say anything that would be around the time we last did anything.
" Thanks! I make 9 months on Sunday"
" You know what you're having? I can't wait to have a baby with my man" Jaliyah said kissing me on the cheek
" A boy. I'm still trying to decide on a name. Im stuck between Kyren or Kael." Faith said with a smirk
" Those are pretty names boo! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well!"
Faith smiled and left the table. I had a queasy feeling. The baby is mine man. Me and Faith always said we were going to name our baby Kyren or Kael. The last time I did anything with her was in January which was about 9 months ago. I need to talk to this girl.
" I'm finna go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." I said to Jaliyah before getting up
I spotted Faith by the bar and asked her could we talk. We went around the corner by the restrooms and she began to cry. I hugged her and rubbed her back.
" Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her
" I didn't want to worry you. I knew you had alot going on with football and I didn't think you would want the baby" she said wiping her eyes.
