Timeline : Post leap. A week after Abhi's birthday, Arohi and Neil don't get married here.

...............................................................

It was eleven in the morning when Akshara returned back to her bedroom after helping her Manjiri Maa in the kitchen. It was a Saturday and her day off but Abhi wasn't that lucky, since he became the medical director of the Birla Hospital. He's even busier now. If she was extremely happy that her Abhi's got promotion and in such a big responsibility, she was also sad that he was overloaded with work. He would have to get up in the middle of nights if emergencies, get home much later than usual, stay back after his scheduled surgeries instead of leaving immediately. New power and responsibility meant also more work and less rest. And her Abhi was already so dedicated to his work, he even put up with those paper work he hated so much. However, she would sometimes get upset and scold him for not taking care of himself—him the man who takes perfect care of every single person in his life whether it's his dear ones or patients. She was so proud of her Docman but he needed to take care of his own self more.

Akshara sighed at her getting lost in her chain of thoughts, of course, Abhi being the only thing in her mind. She wouldn't admit it to him directly but she was missing him a lot these recent days. They spent less time together with her focused on opening the dance academy and him in hospital. Another reason was her one year longing for him—this was something they both realized after their reunion, they couldn't be without each other. They needed to stick to each other's hip as much as possible. And so, Akshara felt herself missing him more than usual whenever he wasn't near her and clearly today was one of those days.

As she was getting lost again in her thoughts, her face lightened up when she saw her husband's text appearing on her phone.

'Jaan, I know you miss me and frustrated that I'm not home right now. Trust me I am too. We could do so many things together...'

Her heart skipped a beat at his suggestive text as her mouth tugged up in a smile. She could already imagine his handsome smirk there.

'But my bad luck. I'm stuck here with this board meeting and paper work. Anyway, I promise that we'll hang out tomorrow. So please eat on time baby. Don't make your stomach starve because of me?'

God, why was he so cute even in messages? She wanted to pull his cheeks and kiss his adorable pout. As if he was reading her mind while texting, his next message appeared making her laugh and wonder how well he knew her.

'I know you're thinking about pulling my cheeks and kissing me but you'd have to wait, wifey. I love you and don't worry, I won't forget about my kisses. Take care, baby. See ya.'

She giggled like a school girl reading her crush's texts before replying him.

'I love you so much, my Docman, just get back home and you'll get more than kisses...*wink emoji*
Go easy on your work, eat on time—I'll call Dr.Rohan to check—
Miss you, baby.'

Making sure to type a heart emoji and a kiss at the end of her text, she hit sent before placing her phone back on the nightstand. Sighing to herself, she finally made up her mind to redecorate their room as Abhi had moved many things during her absence—he assured her that he'd kept everything safely.

Half an hour later, she looked at the two larges boxes that she fished out from their second storage closet. She sat on the coach after opening the boxes and automatically smiled at how neatly everything was arranged inside. That's her Abhi.
