"Baby stop running! You'll fall down!" Akshara Birla's whines could be heard in the whole Birla house as she continued to chase her daughter who's busy running away from her Mumma who wanted to change her pjs.

"Your dad spoiled you too much!" Akshara huffed again as she panted stopping at the nearest pillar. "How can you run so fast when you barely started walking!?" She asked to her little girl, who stopped at the mention of her dad and only giggled at her Mumma showing her perfect white teeth.

"Da..." She spoke cutely melting her mother's heart at the most adorable sight. Her daughter was too cute to be true and sometimes she wanted to bubble wrap her and keep her locked in their room, solely, for their sight.

She understood Abhi's overprotectiveness over his princess.—No. Akshu, don't try to understand him on this. He's the most illogical, craziest person when it came to her. Sometimes, she felt like she was dealing with three kids instead of two, her Abhi being the worst when he got all worked up for his daughter or son.

And then they all said, Abhi would've to deal with three babies. She sweat dropped. Before she could think more, her daughter had already managed to walk down the corridor and was dangerously close to the stairs.

"Aishu NO!" She shouted as she sprinted to the stairs, heart drumming against the column of her chest as she felt an unexplainable fear creeping up her mother instincts.

Her baby's feet was about to slipped down the first step and Akshu almost lost it when she saw her daughter being lifted up in familiar arms. She gasped and gulped and breathed out his name in a sigh of relief. "Abhi..."

"Da!" Her bundle of joy shouted in excited as her small arms rounded around her Papa's neck while her face automatically went to his neck, as she shook in his arms, in pure delight. "Princess!" He cooed endearingly with a bright smile stretching over his lips as he cradled her protectively in his arms, after climbing the last step to not risk a anything. Abhimanyu Birla would walk on eggshells for his baby girl.

Akshara wanted to swoon at the sight but she couldn't forget her earlier fear so decided to give a piece of mind to both, the father and daughter, as she marched towards the duo, who's forgotten everything around them, lost in their own wonderland.

"Did you miss Da princess? Bolo, Bolo, did you miss me?" Abhimanyu asked as he nuzzled his face in his daughter's neck. His princess laughed and nodded her head vigorously against his head, her coal black curls bouncing as she planted a sloppy kiss on her Da's cheek. Abhi grinned radiantly as he relished the feel of his baby in his arms, her little hand on his cheek and hair, pulling it, her kisses on his skin, her adorable laugher ringing in his ears. "Da missed you too baby. So so much! That's why Da came running to you after work!"

Akshara stood in front of her loves but rolled her eyes, arms crossed as they didn't even notice her presence, too busy in each other. She was adoring them without any doubts but sometimes the duo will just forget her.

'Me, forgetting you? Are you kidding me? How can you think that Akshu! About your Abhi? You'll always be my first baby even after our babies' birth.'—Her husband's voice played in her mind in a flashback and her glare straightened at him. 'Of course Abhi. The Flipper. Birla.'—She shook her head in slight annoyance. (In a lighthearted way though).

"...And then I was going back to the toy store to get your—" Abhimanyu stopped his very interesting conversation with his baby, as he finally noticed his Akshu leaned against the nearest pillar, an annoyed sulk on her face. 'Not good, Abhi.'—His inner self whispered. He smiled sweetly at his wife as he adjusted his daughter in his arms, taking a little hand to wave at Akshara.
