Abhimanyu and Akshara lied wrapped up in each other's arm, legs tangled together, their hearts at peace, feeling more alive and complete than ever. Akshara had her head on his chest, his heartbeats, a beautiful melody to her ears, a serene smile on her face as she was soaked up in the warmest and safest place of the world. Her favorite place.

Her heart still raced at the fresh memory of everything they did a while ago. His eyes. The way his eyes pierced through her soul when she reached her breaking point will be forever engraved in her memory. Feeling her cheeks warming up, she smiled and snuggled her face in his chest, placing a kiss right above his heart. She placed her arms on his chest and leaned on them, gazing at his sleeping face lovingly. He'd dozen off an hour ago after staying awake with her all night, but sleep was the last thing in her mind as she was too happy and too overwhelmed to sleep.

Her eyes detailed his face, his messy hair, straight brows, beautiful long lashes, his cheekbones, lips, chiseled jaw...no doubts. He's the most gorgeous man she's ever laid her eyes on. Her eyes fell on the red-violet mark adorning his collarbone and she felt an instant wave of pride wash over her. Hers. He was hers. She didn't know exactly when she got so possessive of him, maybe because she stupidly deprived herself of his love for so long, or maybe because she almost lost him once before getting him back, but what she knew for sure was that she won't ever lose him. Not anymore. She'd die by his side but won't leave him ever again. She'd decided to be selfish for once in her life. She'd be the worst selfish for Abhimanyu Birla.

She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice Abhimanyu waking up from his light sleep. A pleasant smile appeared on his face as his eyes fell on her face, she looked even more stunning afterglow. But he won't ever forget how she looked when they became one. The intensity of her love and passion for him shone in her eyes, and he never fell more for Akshu than that exact moment of pleasure as she gazed into his eyes and lost her innocence to him. He'd forever be grateful to god for sending this precious angel in his life.

Shaking his thoughts away, he brought a hand to her head, tucking her hair strand behind her ear as he stared down at her. She let out a cute surprised gasp as she came out of her reverie and blushed crimson red, averting her eyes from his intense gaze.

He chuckled enjoying her shyness before placing his thumb under her chin to force her eyes on him. Abhi felt so smug with the way her breath caught in her throat and her eyes trailed to his lips before coming back to his eyes. She almost closed her eyes when he pulled face even closer and stopped an inch away from her lips.

- "Don't close your eyes, Akshu." He whispered in a husky voice and felt her shivers under his arms. He smirked at his effect on her. But as she kept staring at him with all the love in world, his smirk turned into a soft smile as he gently pecked her lips and cheeks. "I love you, jaan."

A bright smile stretched out on her face and his heart skipped a beat at the breathtaking sight. His Akshu, basked in the sunlight, naked in his arms, smiling brightly at him. A sight to hold, indeed.

- "Gosh, why're you so beautiful?" He muttered as he flipped their positions and trailed his lips from her mouth to her neck, making her laugh in delight.

Her hands soon found his hair as she massaged his scalp soothingly, "I can say the same, you know..." She murmured softly and he grinned without looking up as he nuzzled her neck.

- "I love you, Abhi." She whispered with a kiss on his head. He tightened his arms around her in response, completely soaking her in his warmth, promising himself to forever take care of her every need, to cherish her as long as he breathes.

They stayed calmly for sometime, in a comfortable silence, enjoying their closeness. Akshara was the one to break the silence.

- "I read your diary."
