A grumpy Akshara made her way in their shared bedroom, with her dear husband on her tail. She threw her handbag on the couch and sat down in front of the mirror to take off her heavy bangles and earrings under the amused stare of the man of her heart.

As she was about to take off her nose ring, he raised a hand to stop her, shaking his head while she glanced at him questionably.

"I like your nose ring. You look extra hot with it." He sent her a flying kiss and she rolled her eyes but didn't take it off.

"Akshu yarrr...stop ignoring me." Abhimanyu whined as he got up from the bed to lean against the dressing table, looking down at her with a pout.

Akshu glanced at him but didn't say anything as she stood up to grab a towel and a nightgown from their wardrobe, heading to their bathroom.

"Can I come in Baby?" Abhi wiggled his brows suggestively.

"As if I can stop you..." His wife muttered under her breath as she entered the bathroom with her Abhi still following her, his laugh ringing in the small space.

"Life is unfair, you know." Abhimanyu said in a matter of fact tone making Akshara look up from their wedding album.

It was currently 11pm and she finished her bath half an hour ago, and was all set to sleep but couldn't fall asleep so she was flipping through their album with a nostalgic smile. Her Docman was sat cross legged on the bed, in front of her, staring at her adorably. However, the small smile vanished from her face at his remark.

"It is." She agreed solemnly, eyes lost on his face.

Abhimanyu couldn't take her grumpy mood anymore. He loved his Chidkurani but he preferred his chirpy, baby girl. Grunting he crawled on the bed to her spot and stuck to her side before dropping his head on her shoulder, smiling as his eyes fell on her haldi applied face.

"You're so beautiful with haldi." He said softly.

She shook her head slightly, her gaze on his own haldi look. "You're more handsome. And you're blushing, right here." She whispered as she caressed his cheeks on the photo.

Abhimanyu lazily looked up as his heart raced. Sometimes even he didn't know how it was possible... but never mind. "You look cute when you blush, Abhi." She completed and planted a kiss on his photo before closing the album.

"I miss your smile." He admitted honestly as he watched her about to turn off the night lamp.

Her eyes watered instantly. "You took away my smile." She retorted before shutting the light off and pulling the comforter over her head, curling up on the bed. On his side with his shirt wrapped around her.

He kissed her forehead in the dark, lingering his lips on her warm skin for a longtime.

"I'm sorry." He breathed.

Sharp at 8am, Akshara descended the stairs of the Birla house. She was dressed in a simple black saree, light make up and without much accessories except for the nose ring she was wearing. Her face brightened when she saw her bundle of joy in the arms of her Papa.

As soon as her baby saw his Mumma, he squealed, wanting to get out of the arms of her grand father.

"Arrey, stop wiggling, calm down, I will hand you to your Mumma." Harshwardhan Birla chided softly as he placed his three years old grandson, Abhir Birla, in Akshara's arms who didn't wait to pepper kisses all over his face.
