- "No Dr.Rohan. I asked for Mrs. Mehrotra's file. Not Mrs.Mehta's." Dr.Abhimanyu Birla hissed slamming the file on his table rather harshly as he glared up at his junior doctor.

The said junior doctor, avoided his glaring eyes and looked down nervously, well aware of Dr.Abhimanyu's infamous anger. But he also knew that he didn't need to be afraid if he isn't at fault.

- "But Abhimanyu Sir, you've already signed Mrs. Mehrotra's reports. She got discharged just this morning only. Mrs.Mehta was admitted a few hours ago."

Abhi closed his eyes cursing himself in his mind for losing his temper and taking out his anger on an intern unnecessarily. He sighed before opening his eyes and getting up from his chair. Rounding up the table he stood in front of his intern.

- "I'm sorry Dr.Rohan. I some other things going in my mind, I shouldn't have lost my temper to you."

- "Arrey, sir, it's okay. It happens." Rohan quickly reassured his favorite doctor, "I can be your ear anytime,Sir, you can vent out all you want with me about anything and everything..." The intern continued talking not noticing Abhi massaging his temples annoyed the more he talked. "After all we're all doctors and—" Rohan's smile froze when he saw his senior's expression.—He looked like he's gonna slit his throat with a damn scalpel if he doesn't dash out that very instant.—"I'll take my leave now, Sir!" He cried behind him as he slammed the door shut and ran out for his dear life.

Abhi let out a frustrated groan in response and let himself fall on the red couch in his cabin. He was frustrated. Tensed. Hurt. All because of the one person who's been avoiding him for the past three days despite her working in the same place as him and living right in front of his house.

Akshara Goenka, his best friend, his childhood crush, now the woman he loves and can't live without, has been avoiding him for the past three days.
He reminisced the last days' happening with a tired sigh. He got home late that night, she promised to meet him there but she wasn't there. At first, he thought she's mad because he's late so he went to her home, only to find her fast asleep. But Abhimanyu knew better, Akshara sleeping at 10pm was like sun setting on the East. He knew that very instant that something was wrong but he shrugged it and kissed her forehead before getting out of her room, knowing very well she was aware of his presence.

He found out about her getting the job of her dreams the next morning while preparing himself for work as he was too tired to even change his clothes, the night before. He was extremely proud of her. She did it. Being a doctor himself in the Birla hospital and having known his Taiji all his life, he knew how hard it is to get a job in Birla hospital, no matter if you're family or not. There're some ethics and rules of the hospital that can't be broken. And Abhimanyu was bound to obey the rules, just like Akshara. So her getting the job in their brand new Music Therapy department genuinely for her talent, made his heart swell with pride for her. She's always been a hardworking, dedicated person when it came to her studies and career. He'd always admired her for it and now, she was realizing her dreams in front of his eyes, getting the fruits of her efforts. Damn. He was beyond "Proud" of her.

With that excitement, forgetting about his own work, Abhimanyu Birla, grabbed her job acceptance letter and sprinted to his Akshu's house that  morning, without caring about him still being in his slippers and his wet  towel hanging on his shoulders.
Bade Papa who was sitting in the lobby almost spilled his coffee when he saw him racing as if his life depended on it. He quickly said that his Akshu got her dream job on his way without even looking back and dashed upstairs to her room.
