I was on my way to Wangshu inn to rest for the night.

"Paimons hungry."

"Paimon you're always hungry." I let out a deep sigh.

As I was just a few miles away I heard THAT annoying sound.

"AH Abyss mages."

"Mages or a Mage." I yawned.

"MAGES."

"Paimon I know your scared but I can't fight with you hanging on my back like this."

"And Aren't Abyss Mages supposed to stay away from civilization."

The Hydro Abyss mage Summoned water balls while the Cryo tried to freeze me.

"Paimon off, I can't fight."

"But Paimon's scared."

I dogged there attacks best I could with the pixie hanging on for dear life.

"I swear mortals are weak."

Before I knew it The mages had turned to dust.

"Why are you out here making a racket."

A short man with yellow eyes like wise to those of a feline was standing on rock.

"I was headed to Wangshu inn when I saw them."

He scoffed and turned into blue particles.

"Paimon swears Adepti can be so rude."

"Traveler why is your face red." The pixie started pocking my face.

"Its hot to."

"Paimon stop let's just head to the inn."

Once we made it there I checked in with Verr Goldet to book a room.

"Oh if it isn't too much trouble can yo-"

"No offense but iv been doing commissions all day I am not doing anything else."

I grabbed my key and headed up stairs.

"You didn't have to be so rude you know."

'Paimon I am tired and I just wanna sleep.".

I reached for the next step when all the pain hit me at once.

I felt my vision go blurry until there was nothing but black.

"Traveler traveler wake up."

Every thing was blurry, Vision going in and out.

When My eyes finally could see again I saw the adeptis from earlier.

It felt like he was carrying me.

Paimon was crying which broke my heart.

"What happened."

"I DON'T KNOW THEY JUST FELL."

Paimon was crying more now.

Soon I felt the softness of the bed under me.

" Tell me when they awake." The adeptis jumped from the window.

I felt Paimon' s warm chubby body on my stomach.

"Please wake up Paimon misses you traveler."

I tried to sit up just to feel the pain in my stomach ache.

"Traveler you awake Paimon' s happy now."

I giggled at her little body jumping up and down.

"Oh and Adeptis Xiao told me to tell you this."

"Next time you need help just call my name."
