(Y'all this was supposed to be a dehya and reader but I was going to change it sorry I didn't notice I posted the wrong story sooner 😢)"My lady you shouldn't walk so far ahead." Dehya jogged to catch up to dunyazad stopping to catch her breath before continuing their walk. "Sorry Dehya I just am really exited to see Nilou." The two walked through the busy streets of Sumeru meeting up with the traveler and Paimon along the way but while walking something found it self in the corner of lumine's eye. It was a black blur perhaps a cloak. She stopped for a moment and looked in that direction but there was nothing. "Lumine is everything alright." She caught up to dunyazad before speaking. "I'm fine don't worry." Once the group arrived at the Grand Bazaar,Lumine sat at one of the tables while Nilou, dunyazard, Dehya and Paimon talked. Lumine calmed her self deciding that the blur was probably her imagination when she saw it again this time much clearer. A black cloak flowed as strands of h/c hair peeked from the front. Their e/c eyes were visible along with a smirk. But as soon as they appeared they were gone. Now Lumine knew she wasn't hallucinating. Once they left the Grand Bazaar Lumine held dunyazad close just in case. "Lumine is everything ok your acting a little weird." dunyazad worried expression was enough to take down an army. "I think we're being chased."
As if on cue an arrow flew past them, grazing dunyazad's cheek. Dehya summoned her claymore and Lumine her sword looking for who shot it when they heard clapping. "I must say I didn't know they had hired bodyguards for miss dunyazad." You emerged from the shadows with a smile. "Who are you." Dehya stepped in front of dunyazard as you walked closer. "Oh please forgive my manners I'm y/n pleased to make your acquaintance." Guards from the surrounding area started circling you. "Y/n are you the culprit for the recent assassinations around Sumeru recently." You wore a fed up expression and crossed your hands in front of your chest. "Wow what gave you that idea." The guards raised their spear to you. "If you think you have control of me just cause I'm wearing an Akasha Terminal your horribly mistaken." Your gaze was enough to make them freeze in their spots. "Welp it was a pleasure meeting you Traveler and lady Dehya but I'm afraid I must be taking my leave now." You did a small bow before disappearing into thin air.
"Who was that." Dunyazard wiped the blood off her cheek. "That was y/n their almost famous among us mercenary's." After walking dunyazard home Dehya, Lumine and Paimon were walking to the gate off Sumeru city when you showed up in front of them. "Be quite and don't make a sound." They nodded and you removed your cloak. "I need your help with something." You adjusted your gloves and placed your hand on your hips. "And why would we help you." You sighed completely ready to give up on your plan. "From what I know you have close connections to the general Mahamatra and the academias Scribe therefor you know what the Academia is up to." Lumine was surprised you knew that she never spoke a word about that anywhere. "What do you need help with." Dehya decided to help you with your plan. "Where do they keep the knowledge capsules." You leaned against the half wall and fixed your hair. "If it's important to you probably the Grand Sage's office." You smiled and sat up walking past Dehya and Lumine and summoned your bow. "I know your there scribe." You drew you bow and aimed it at Al-Haitham who was standing in the shadows. "Should've known you wouldn't give me what I wanted so easily." Al-Haitham drew his sword and pointed it at you. "Wait don't tell Paimon your about to fight here." You sighed realizing you were outnumbered and un-drew your bow before breaking it in 2 forming swords and charged at Al-Haitham faster then he could comprehend and flipped off his sword.
You Vanished and reappeared behind Lumine kicking her in the back, sending her flying. "Come on now don't tell me you thought I was gonna give up that easily. You vanished again and appeared in the grand Sages office. Putting away you swords. You walked over to the giant book case before finding the Knowledge Capsule. "Stop and drop the Capsule." Damit they knew you were coming, you sighed and rolled your eyes, dropping the Capsule. You turned around with your hands up. "Tell me y/n what do you think your doing." The Grand Sage walked closer to you picking up the Knowledge Capsule. You kept quiet secreting your surroundings, 8 guards and the Grand Sage. You stepped on his hand before kicking him in his stomach ,making him tumble back and picked up the knowledge Capsule. " I think I'll be taking my leave now." You Teleported behind the guards and ran to the window. You turned around to face them and winked. "Bye bitchs." You jumped backwards out the window and landed on the bridge to the front of the Academia. You jumped over the railing and accidentally landed in front of Dehya who was looking for you. "Ugh Really luck is just not on my side today." Dehya summoned her claymore when she heard The Corp Of Thirty running after you. "Bye have fun." You were already on the tops of the buildings making your escape. You ran making sure to avoid the guards and The Scribe that were after you. You made it to the forest and leaned against a tree catching your breath Teleporting like that takes up a lot of stamina. You wiped the sweat off your face and sighed. "We'll how did your mission go." You pulled out the knowledge Capsule and tossed it to him. "Here you are my prince." Aether nodded handing the Capsule to the Abyss Herald. "Oh also Dainslief is in the area I felt his energy earlier while in Port Ormos." You sighed trying not to fall asleep. "Oh one more thing make it the last time I find out you hurt my sister." His glare Was enough to probably kill and archon. "Got it now shoo." The Abyss Herald glared at your tone towards the prince. "As a Kanh'rian you should be on your knees thanking the prince." You were just going to ignore him when he said something the made your blood boil. "I would've thought that some one who served under Twilight Sword directly would have more honor." You kicked him to the tree and summoned your sword when Aether stopped you. "We need to get going have you revenge later." The two disappeared through the portal leaving you with your thoughts, your teeth were clenched, your sword would probably break under the amount of pressure it was under, and your eyes were cloudy. You sat back against the tree and closed your eyes deciding just to rest for know.
When you awoke your previous wounds from your other job were dressed and your hand was bandaged from cutting it on your blade. You got out of bed and grabbed you bow and your clothes. Once dressed you walked out and exited the house. It was exactly as you thought the group you were running from had taken you to the desert. "Oh good your awake I don't know how you were walking around with those kinds of wounds." Candace brought you glass of water and some medicine. "I understand if you leave but you might want to at least listen to them." And with that she left. You audibly sighed and rolled your eyes heading back inside leaning against the pole. Once the rest of the group arrived you sat down on the floor and closed your eyes. "We'll I'm glad you decided to stay." You glared at Al-Haitham and his sarcastic tone but was distracted when Dehya handed you a pita pocket.
"From the information Lumine has gathered on the Acidamiyas plan on their new god we can surmise-" once he started using big words you completely tuned everything out. "Y/n are you listening." You opened your eyes and stood up ,stretching "nope not in the least bit." You walked out of the house and turned into a concealed area. "Good your here any good news." The abyss herald stood in front of you with his arms crossed behind his back. "Everything is going according to plan." You were going to continue when you heard small footsteps. "Y/n your with the abyss." Lumine summoned her sword and charged at you. "You know what to do y/n." You parried her attacks and flung her sword into the air as she tripped back. You thought about what Aether said and reached your hand towards Lumine to which she grabbed and you hoisted her up to your chest. "Come on we need to get you out of here." You threw Lumine to the side and used your arm to block the abyss Heralds attack. "Y/n you betray the abyss and for that you shall die." You grabbed Lumine and teleported to port ormos behind some crates. "Y/n your arms bleeding." Paimon flew closer to inspect your arm and flew around you checking for any other injuries. "Before you ask I don't know anymore then you do about your brother." Lumines eyes widened as she didn't even ask yet it was as if you could read her moves like a book. "Don't bother reaching for bandaged as this wound will heal by tomorrow." You stood up and teleported away to a quiet lake and suck your legs in the water until a certain boy sat next to you. "I heard you betrayed the abyss." His gaze always seemed so distant like he was in another world entirely. "I never was apart of the abyss I simply agreed to relay information and watch over your sister." He stood up and left leaving you alone with nothing but the sounds of nature.
You had a satisfied smile on your face as the dreams of the people of Sumeru were returned to their rightful owner when you were nicked out of your thoughts. "Hey y/n come here." You jumped out of the tree you were in and landed in front of Lumine. "Need something." She wrapped her arms around you giving you a hug. "What's this for." She shrugged and kissed your forehead. "Just a little something something." Her smile always made you feel nice and warm inside
"Guess I just love you."
