"Are you with Kris?" That was Kira, ang aga aga naman yata ng tawag niya?

"Bakit mo hinahanap? Tulog pa." Sagot ko kahit na nakadikit ang mukha niya sa akin dahil isa siyang tsismoso.

"Can you wake him up for me? I can't stand this woman anymore." Umarko ang kilay ko, knowing Kira, tumutuwid lang ang English niya kapag napipikon na siya.

I put the call on loud speaker before closing my eyes to sleep again.

"What's going on there?"

"She went here like a mad woman looking for you. As of now maybe she's on the way to your home in Las Casas."

"I'm sorry about that, Kira. I miscalculated them, I never thought they could go this far." Kristoff stated before sitting beside me.

"Well they're slaves of money, what do we expect? How's Vien nga pala?" Her voice turned softer when she asked about me.

"She's okay. Dito na muna siya, ayaw kong ma-stresss ang asawa ko sa mga pinaggagawa nila." Siniksik ko ang sarili ko sa kaniya dahil masarap sa pakiramdam na marinig ang mga sinabi niya.

Pinahiga niya ako sa kandungan niya at nilaro ang buhok ko.

"Still no updates about him. As for now ang alam ko lang is Zia's chasing the man he worked with, before."

"Oh, I think Peter Fischer has something against Nathaniel and he's using it to wrap him in his fingers."

"Probably, but what could it possibly be?" I looked up at Kris smiling, hearing their voices calms me down. Parehas kasing kalmado at malumanay.

Besides kaya hindi rin kami nanalo sa case ay dahil masyadong malawak ang connection ng mga gangsters na pumuprotekta sa kaniya.

"So anong ganap ng ex mo?" Umupo ako at tumingin kay Kristoff na nagulat pa sa bigla kong pagkilos.

"Well Vien, uhm. . . Should I say this or ikaw na lang?" Kumunot ang noo ko, ano ba iyon?

"Ikaw na Kris. I'll end the call it's pretty late here." Then the line was cut. I moved away when Kristoff tried to hold my hand, I raised my eyebrow and waited for his answer.

"I told you she became my ex because I tried to play their game, right?" I nodded in response still not giving him a chance to hold me kahit pa ilang ulit na niyang sinubukan, umuusog ako.

"Kira and I, we're friends since kids so I tried asking for her help to be my fake girlfriend but she's in a relationship so it didn't worked out. I tried looking for other excuses but I realized playing along is better since I would be having a better view of their plans."

"Just explain, no need to hold me." I dismissed his hand. He winced before keeping his hands in his thighs.

"And I did, I have discovered their plans and that shits with Logan's dad. After that, I turned down the engagement and move back here, that's the same night I saw—"
