CHAPTER TWO

"Come out tonight, with me."
Holy fuck! Did I just ask her out? Her eyes are slightly wide and I'm wondering if she was going to smack me, but she didn't. She just grinned and asked something I'm not sure of how to answer.

"What, like a date? You want to take me out, on a date?"
Luckily, Hope isn't in the room and it's lucky because she'd tell Billie, not to agree to it. Hell, I should tell her not to do it either, but here I am and here she is and I'm answering her with my usual shit.

"Well, if you want it to be a date, then sure; it's a date. But I have to warn you, where I'll be taking you, we won't be alone. So, technically it's not really a date. It's just a few friends meeting up for a night of partying. You do party, right? I mean, you're not like one of those girls who study all the time are you?"
As I tell her the part about us not being alone, I watch as her body deflates.

"Oh, okay. What kind of party is it though? Because if it's like your typical teen house party then I'm out. I can't stand that shit. It's full of crazy kids who can't handle their drinks. Trust me, I've been to a few, and it's no fun when someone spews all over your brand new converse. I love my converse so needless to say, I wasn't impressed. I may have also made the Prat pay for it too. Oh yes, I got my revenge all right. I made his face up with a shit-load of black shoe polish. Obviously when he fell asleep. I mean, the guy was pretty big, so I didn't want to get lynched.
Actually, I still have the picture. You wanna see it?"

While I crease, pissing my pants with laughter, I nod my head telling her, "Fuck yes I do." As soon as she places her phone in my hand, I completely lose it. I'm laughing my arse off. Eventually, I settle down. I notice again, she's smiling. Seeing this causes me to stop breathing. I've met some Bellissima women, but this girl. This woman is by far the most beautiful.

"Luckily for me, nobody saw me do it. So there were no comebacks. I really wanted to share it. You know, online, but I'd decided against it. I mean, it's bound to come back to me. So I didn't want to risk it. I'm crazy, but I'm not that crazy. I like my life and I intend on making it a good one too. I mean, having no fingers or toes wouldn't be a good start, especially if I'm to become a photographer. I guess having fingers is definitely a must. You know, for taking pictures. And to answer your question; I'm still not too sure about what I want to take pictures of. I guess I'm still figuring it all out. All I know is, I want to see if it can take me somewhere. I don't know. Maybe a bit of magazine work, or books, I'm not sure, but I'd like to try it."

She shrugged her shoulder like it wasn't a big deal, and all the while telling me this, I'm still grinning. Why am I grinning? Well, I'm still holding her open phone. And if you've not figured me out yet? Well, you know I can't pass this up. So while I'm telling her I hope it all works out, I'm opening her contact list and typing in my number. She attempts to take her phone back, of course, but I'm too quick for her. Yep, my number is already in.

"What the hell, Zelie? You're meant to ask first if a girl will take your number. Or at least ask for hers first."
My eyes light up and I quickly press the call button to get her number too. Then while she snatched her phone back from my hands, she says, "Jesus, are you always this forward?"

"Only with the ones I like the most."
Her nose scrunches up again, only to call me out. She's telling me, she'd hate to think about how many women who've fallen for it.

"I mean, you come across as a complete tart. So I can only assume that you are, especially since I'd overheard your mother warn you. And the fact Hope agreed with me on that little fact too.
So before I agree to go anywhere with you. I'm telling you now, I am not. I repeat I am not one of those girls. I'll party with you, yes, but don't get any crazy ideas that I'll jump into bed with you or anywhere else for that matter."
