ARI STIRRED NOT AS COLD as she once was. She reached out a hand only to find she was laying on the floor and no one was around. Well, except for the kid, who stood on her chest and poked at her face. He cooed and pointed to the massive hole in the wall. He got off the girl and waddled over to it, patiently waiting for her.
A bone popped as she got up but paid no mind to it. The kid and finding the others were more important. She gestured for BD to follow and she moved the curtain for the smaller creature before joining them.
The freezing wind hit her the moment she walked out. She thought about going back for a jacket when she remembered she did not have any that suited the weather. Crossing her arms and huffing, she trailed behind the little green creature, wondering where they were going.
The kid led her around the ship to the other side. He pointed to something but kept his distance, standing at the end of the vessel.
Ari peeked around the corner. There, Mando crouched, working on fixing exposed wires and gears.
The kid cooed once more, speaking gibberish to Ari and his da, then pointed someplace unknown.
The bounty hunter looked up from his work, paying attention to Ari more so than the kid.
"Hey, you're awake," he glanced at the kid. "How 'bout you come over here, give me a hand? Make yourself useful."
Ari started forth but was stopped by something tugging on her pants. She looked down to find that the kid had slowly but surely been making his own path. "Kid? Hey, kid, where ya going?" She rushed after him, knowing there were unseen dangers about.
The Mandalorian did a double take when he saw that the kid, along with Ari and her droid, were not there anymore. He paused on his work, debating whether to go after them. When he heard Ari yelling for him, he figured he should.
Ari and the kid stood near the ship, looking at the ground. Amidst the footprints, one stood out. Small, amphibian tracks. The brunette turned, biting her nail. "She's gone."
Mando leaned down so he was close to the kid. "Where did she go?" he asked him.
The child continued to talk in his gibberish and pointed to a cavern on the side of the rock. Mando picked him up and began walking to the dark cave.
"I'll stay here, in case she comes back," Arani suggested.
Mando stopped and whirled 'round. "I don't think that's a good idea."
Ari placed a hand on a hip, taken aback. "It's a great idea."
"Yeah, if you didn't have a concussion. I need to keep an eye on you." He tilted his head to the tunnel and offered out his free hand. "Come on."
