"LET ME DO THE TALKING in there," said Bo-Katan as they made their way to the address on the spark pad.
"Why is that?" Din asked and Ari looked at him in bemusement. After what occurred at the docking yard it was best he kept a distance from droids for a while.
"Because I wanna get the information fast and get to the fleet," Bo-Katan responded.
"So do I. What's your point?"
Ari couldn't believe him. "Because you're less than civilized when it comes to Imperial droids."
Bo nodded. "Precisely. You kicking droids is really not helpful."
"I figured out which one was malfunctioning, didn't I?"
Haro hummed and fell into step with the Mandalorian, letting the two women walk ahead. "Yes, but then it tried to attack us and then we had to chase after it. I still haven't recovered from that yet, by the way. I think we should leave the negotiating to the, well, the negotiators." He tilted his head towards Ari and Din glanced at her.
She was walking with a purpose he hadn't seen in a while, her long curls bouncing with each step. She slipped into an alley and looked up at the towering building. "This is it," she told them. Bo-Katan was the first to descend the stairs. Keeping her head high, she was unafraid to look directly at the silent droids.
"I don't think they get many of our kind here," muttered Din.
Arani shook her head. "Definitely not."
Bo-Katan led the group to the bar counter and the bartender droid spoke to them as if they were regulars. "Can I help you?" It said in a friendly tone.
"That depends. Is this The Resistor?" said Bo, leaning against the counter.
"This is."
Din tossed the spark pad on the bar in front of the droid.
"That spark pad was found on a rogue battle droid," told Ari.
"We give out lots of spark pads." The bartender pulled out a container of them and placed it on top of the pad they found.
"There had been a string of malfunctions that all point to this oil can," said Bo-Katan.
"You can check my registry. We are in full compliance with Planetary Hierarchial-"
