BEFORE THEY COULD MAKE IT TO CORVUS, the small clan had to stop at another nearby planet for repairs. There was no way the ship would make the journey without being fixed. Din said they were going back to Nevarro, where he knew a few people who'd be more than gracious to help.
Din had told her to collect herself and be ready once they landed.
So, she finally got the chance to shower and change her outfit, she hoped the planet would be warmer than Trask's as she still had not acquired the right clothes. She had asked Din as she slipped on her boots, his voice travelling done to her from the pit.
He told her it'd be similar to Tatooine, that the sun was bright and hot. So, she went in search of her headscarves - they had not been in the bag she had and it confused her. Up and down the ship she went, upturning everything she could.
Din and the child had come down to join her, but instead found a large mess and a lot of clothing scattered across the floor. The Mandalorian called for Ari and her voice sounded from behind a small stack of crates.
"What are you doing, Ari?"
"Looking for my headscarf," she said, overturning her bag and shaking it out to make sure nothing was stuck.
Din bent to grab something from the pile. "You mean this?"
Ari glanced at him. She studies the item before shaking her head. "I'm looking for my white one, that one doesn't match my outfit."
Din stared at her in disbelief. Women - no matter how you got to know them - still perplexed him at times.
The kid cooed and tugged at his hand. He was pointing at his bed, telling Din to search over there. When they came to the kid's hammock, the green creature crawled into it and produced the scarf.
Din chuckled. How had he not realized that the kid had been sleeping with it?
The kid handed it over to him and he cleared his throat, getting the brunette's attention. "The kid had it."
"I'm not surprised. Thank you." She took the scarf and wrapped it around her head with skill.
While she did that, Din told her that they were close to Nevarro and should be landing soon.
Ari pivoted to him, a smile gracing her lips. She had not worn a head covering for weeks, yet, her aura lit up. She seemed more confident. The woman from Tatooine was back. "Great," she responded. "Let's go meet these friends of yours then."

LANDING ON NEVARRO WAS BETTER than on Trask but it was still a rough one. Din landed the ship just outside the city walls and opened the ramp. He went out first with the child, finding two familiar faces. When he knew everything was in the clear, he signalled for Ari to join them.
