THE SECURITY ROOM was just how they left it, the Commissioner seemingly never having moved from his desk. The only difference was the tone of the space, where once it seemed boring, the room now filled with tension as the man laid his eye upon them.

"Commissioner, we have some questions for you," said Bo-Katan.

"Sorry, I have to check the data farm for anomalies," he waved her off.

"We know about the Nepenthe. And the nano-droids. They didn't malfunction. You programmed them to disrupt and attack," told Bo-Katan.

"You're coming with us," Di stated, making all the workers turn to their boss.

The older man jumped from his seat and hovered a hand over the red button on his controls. "Everyone, freeze! If I trigger this failsafe, it will convert the planet's docile workforce back into battle droids and unleash them upon the unsuspecting citizens of Plazir! Don't make me do it."

"There's no way out, Commissioner. Give yourself up," Bo tried to reason.

The man laughed. "Give up? I never give up. I didn't give up to the corrupt Republic, I didn't give up to the Empire, and I won't give up to you."

Everything clicked for Arani. "You're a Separatist."

"Separatist is a pejorative term. I support democracy. Count Dooku was a visionary. He was cut short in his prime by the Jedi enforcer-" He was interrupted when Bo-Katan shot a taser at him and he fell unconscious.

"Politics," Bo-Katan said when the others looked at her.

"I know the feeling all too well," Ari reassured and watched as Helgait twitched, she couldn't find a single ounce of remorse for him. "Bain of my existence, it is."

ARANI COULD FINALLY RELAX, their task was complete. She let the cheers and laughter of the palace fall upon her, enjoying the festivities the Captain's guests were partaking in. The Dutchess and Captain were playing a round at the games court and their smile dropped when they saw the Commissioner in cuffs.

"What are you doing with Commissioner Helhait?" Captain Bombardier questioned.

"We found the cause of your 'malfunctions'," said Din.

The Dutchess looked baffled. "Is this true?"

"I'm afraid it is, M'Lady," Helgait answered."

The Captain shook his head. "Despicable."

The older man scoffed. "If that isn't the Quacta calling the Stifling slimy."

"I beg your pardon."

"This planet is unrecognizable since he arrived."
