THE NIGHT HAD BEEN UNEVENTFUL and come sunrise, the group became acclimatized to the survivors. Bo-Katan had told the Mandalorians that she wanted to search for the Great Forge, and their leader grinned at that. He knew where they were and had promised to take them.

So now with the reassurance of sunlight, the crew rushed to their stations and the day began with a loud shout from the captain. "Onward, Mandalorians! To the Forge!"

The ship burst into life as ropes creaked and the wings were raised. Those who were able sprinted about checking and double-checking lines. The ship rolled, rumbling, and the Gauntlet roared behind them. The Armouror had volunteered to take the sick and injured back to the fleet so they could have proper medical treatment. The vessel quickly disappeared into the clouds and Ari returned to surveying the terrain around them.

It was uneventful travelling to the Great Forge, nothing could stir up an interesting tale or lighthearted conversation. Ari scanned the deck, finding Paz and Axe placidly playing a game of Dejarik, much to her surprise. She crossed the ship and joined Kosta in watching. But the relaxed aura changed.

"You can't move an Enforcer like that," said Axe, sitting straight.

"It's a flank jump," said Paz, matter-of-factly. "And you're about to submit.

"But only the Wing Guard can flank jump."

"The Enforcer moves like a Wing Guard when it's flanking."

Axe turned to Kosta behind him with a sigh. "These primitives make up their own rules for everything."

As they bickered, more people turned to watch the situation escalate. Ari's eyes widened at the sheer disregard Axe had shown for his fellow Mandalorian, and even though she knew she shouldn't interfere, she spoke up.

"Axe, what the hell? Did nothing I say mean anything to you two? If this is how you respond to a disagreement about a game, how will you ever get through a real argument? I will not have you killing each other for trivial subjects."

The helmetless man glanced down at the game board, fighting against himself now to not say something that might infuriate her more. "Right," he nodded and reached for a piece. But Paz jumped up, knife in hand. "Seriously?"

"Submit or fight," Paz responded.

Ari pinched the bridge of her nose, the large man had tuned her out apparently. "Paz, sit down." He didn't.

"Can you believe this," Axe said, glancing at the woman like he wasn't in the wrong. Before she could respond, Axe took one more glance at the knife and shot into the air, kneeing Paz in the head before brandishing his own blade.
