For the majority of Sunday I am running through different games trying to find something that I really want to play just to keep my mind off everything else and ultimately decided to just play League of Legends and hate myself before the day ends.

I have noticed a shit ton of challenger twitch streamers popping up and I am kind of wondering if I should also get into it seeing as I have been Challenger for a while now.

Then again I probably need to work on a persona and equipment for streaming. Ugh. I then lift myself out of my chair before heading straight into the kitchen to see mom is making breakfast before she heads out.

"Hey, mum."

She looks over her shoulder with a slight smile. "Heya. Almost done with breakfast."

I sit down at one of the seats. "I was kind of thinking about career choices for a while now and I don't really know what I want to do but I am probably going to freak you out a little bit because what I am going to suggest isn't even a little bit productive."

With a slight nod. "That isn't a good way to start a talk about careers." She then returns her gaze back to the stove. She then asks me with a chuckle, "What do you want to do?"

I cross my arms. "I kind of want to try this streaming thing. Heard that the money you get from it is pretty easy and I have been pretty good at games for a long time now and the only real barrier I have is that I might be a bit bland."

Then walking over to the toaster she asks me, "What do you need to start out?"

"I have everything that I really need apart from a camera and a studio mic - I don't exactly need the mic because what I have no is good and the whole camera thing is probably the only thing I am going to need."

She then chuckles. "You also forgot to mention sleepless nights. Screaming, yelling... all those little things."

"Yeah..."

Then handing me my plate she sits down opposite of me looking at me with a plain smile. "Whatever you want to do sweety, if it works out then it works out. You are just going to have to do something else to make sure you can get a career if it fails."

"Definitely."

She crosses her arms before saying. "Is this you asking me to give you some money?" Suspiciously narrowing her eyes at me.

"No-" I snort. "I'll show what I am planning to use and get some soundproof paneling to keep me from disturbing you in the nights-"

"The walls are pretty thick in our home so we don't have to worry too much about that. But sure - point at what you need and I can help make it work. I know it will probably take a while to get off of your feet but sure."

I then ask her, "You know quite a bit about this, mom. Where'd mom find out?"

"One of my clients is a streamer." she takes a sip of her coffee. "Or at least I think that is what he said. Anyway, I work pretty much all the time so it won't bother me as much and all the other things are easy to work around."

"Thanks, mom." I flash her a wide grin.

The two of us have been on our own for a long time now. I mean... mom really doesn't need me to survive seeing as she is very successful in her field as an attorney. So much so that she could buy a house at a young age and still support me with ease.

The problem is that she is a workaholic and I rarely get to see or spend as much time with her as I want.  Though I was totally expecting her to shut me down with this little venture but... I am genuinely surprised and happy that she would let me at least try it.
