Finishing up our meals, I side next to her as we clean up the mess that I made. "If your dad is the one that is a trained chef why does it always end up with me being the one cooking?"
Answering without missing a beat, "I like being spoiled."
"How could I forget?" I shake my head.
"Quite impossible considering that up until a couple of months ago everyone used to point out my flaws and what makes me a chore to deal with and the only person that has been consistent at bullying me is you."
"The two of us have been like that forever though."
"Hm mhm. It's like how you bully the person you like and you have been trying to secretly come out of your closet and because your wish to date someone as awesome as I got so strong that I got turned into a woman so that you never even needed to leave the closet in the first place."
I freeze for a moment, shooting her a glare she only snickers at my reaction.
My phone that is resting on the counter lights up, I read the message quickly before stating, "Mom said she can make time for tonight."
She walks past me to put away the plates. "Surprising considering that she is incredibly busy half of the time."
"Mom does her best without fail and is super supporting when it comes to me," I wipe down the mess while I continue, "the only reason why I am even able to spend time growing as a streamer is that she doesn't mind me doing it at all, as long as I enjoy myself."
"Playing games as a living does sound fun."
I look at her. "Have you thought about what you'd want to do? When we get out of school?"
She stretches her arms over her head. "I don't really know. I'd like to go to college after this and then somehow convince you to tag along as my emotional support boyfriend."
I narrow my eyes at her. "You are pretty ambitious."
"But you aren't complaining~"
"Who in their right mind would complain?"
She stops right in front of me with a smug expression, "You do have a way with words," her arms are behind her back she is practically almost resting her chin on my chest.
Her face is extremely close, and I can smell the perfume that I always complained was super strong for no reason but I like the one she is using. My heart is beating uncontrollably in anticipation... as if something is ever going to come from this.
Winking at me she walks away, she breathes out, "Thanks for the food."
"Can you even cook?"
"Better than you can," she walks around the island and settles opposite of me. "I grew up with just my dad who lives and breathes his passion to be a chef. Obviously, I know how to cook better than you."
I prop up my hand, "I learned to cook because Mom can't always bring home food or make food so I started preparing a meal for her when she comes home and to keep myself properly fed."
Narrowing her eyes. "Okay. You are missing the point here."
"I will continue being an ass about it until you stop being lazy and make me something to eat for a change."
She pushes her lips out, "But I don't want to do that."
"A way to a man's heart is through his stomach."
She gives me a disgusted look, "Why would I want to do that?"
I drop my head between my shoulders, muttering to myself, "It's like trying to argue with someone that is both delusional and bipolar."
