- sorry for the time jump, I just remembered something.
"Jackson, Kairo, Kaz,!" The boy came infront of me and got their lunches before heading to the car with their dad.
"Daycare kids, let's go!" I said to them but more to myself, I picked up Dior's car seat and grabbed Kota and Lilah's hand.
I got out to my car and got in and situated just as Devale was pulling out. This has been our routine for 10 months.
The weekend after Dior turned 1 month Kay dropped the boys off and went to better herself.
Her and I had a whole cry fest and basically hugged it out and talked. I love Kay i honestly really do.
However I'll always feel resentment towards her because of some of the stuff she said to me.
She can never unsay that but at the same time I get her resentment for me as well. I basically stole her life.
We both apologized and came to an conclusion that no matter what we can't take back what has transpired in these past years.
On the other hand we both said well try to stay cordial and not let little stuff get to us anymore.
I check on her every other week just to make sure she's alright, she's restarted her life in Florida.
She has a new job and she has just purchased a new home for her and the boys, she also has the same boyfriend.
They are very serious and things are looking good, the boys will return to stay with her for summer and then back with us in august.
We decided it was best to let them live out these few elementary/middle school years with us.
And if they ever decided they wanted to stay with their mom full time we'll be totally okay with having holidays.
They boys and my relationship has grown a bit, Jack is still his mothers son 100%. We have our days we're D has to let him know he's a child.
And other days were we're like two peas in a pod, Kairo is cordial. Whatever Kaz does he follows even tho Kaz is younger.
Jackson is in 4th grade, Kairo is in 2nd grade and Kaz is in 1st grade. Delilah and Kaz start pre-k next school year.
However Lilah, Kaz and Dior go to Hallow's Daycare. It's run by my sister Ciara, I wouldn't trust them with anyone else.
"Okay love you sis!" I said to Ci after I made sure the kids were good, "See you, love you too!"
I left the building hopping back into my car and driving to set, the movie I starred in with Micheal premiered last year.
It did good with rating especially since what happened between him and I. Everybody was calling me a cheater and shit.
Devale quickly shut that narrative down when he posted a picture of me him and Micheal at the movie premiere.
The shade room posted it and everybody was just saying lil shit thinking he was dumb and Kay was laughing at us.
Whole time Kay reposted my pictures with heart eyes saying 'Sisss 💕' but they don't wanna hear that.
The world doesn't understand good co-parenting and that's on them. Whenever they see step/real parents getting along they automatically assume they're dumb.
In our situation sometimes it could be dumb because of how it conspired up the point we're at.
We get along now and even though we didn't always however that's nobody business but the Ellis's and Khadeen.
