14. Trouble in Paradise

*This isn't Rens (mine) POV. This is Kailer's POV about Rens not answering him back*

Kailer's Flashback/POV

I was having an amazing day at work and I was planning on visiting with Mia. I know Mia has been with that abusive asshole Keldren, he was raised as my brother yet he never really was a brother to me. Sometimes we got along but most of the time, he abused me too and bullied me and he actually got me addicted to drinking and drugs in the fucking first place. I hardly ever drank and I only smoked weed but not much at all.

*Phone dings*

Me: Mia texted me *opens her text up*

Mia: "I ain't in the mood to talk right now. I'm going to sleep right now because I can't handle this anymore. I won't be in school tomorrow because of reasons and I'm going to bed because I don't feel good"

Me: *looks up* it's only 4:40 P.M. What if she isn't okay? *Text Mia back* "Hey, is everything ok princess?"

Mia: "Yeah, I broke up with Keldren and he wasn't happy about it. I'm going to bed already"

Me: *reads and smiles then frowns* She broke up with him? Why isn't she happy?! *Texts back* "Did he hurt you?!"

Mia: "No. Talk to you later"

Me: Something is wrong with her! *texts back* "Please wait"
"Mia?"
"Princess answer me"
*Mia missed a call from you*
"Mira, this isn't funny"
*Mia missed 3 calls from you*

*Kailer was talking to himself in his car. Kailer does talk to himself a lot mostly alone. Kailer did end up going home and he ended up calling Easton up to talk because Easton was both of our best friend*

•Keldren did show up and yes Kailer punched him and the fight got so bad that Easton pulled Kailer off and ended up calling the cops and they arrested Keldren•

8 hours later

Me: *texts her* "Mira Rensley Hurley, it's 1 in the morning and I know you had to fucking wake up some time. Call me! I'm worried for you"
*Mia missed 10 calls from you*
"Keldren showed up and now he's in jail with a black eye. Please call me"

Mia: *opens message*

•This is between me and Easton•

Me: She just left me on open! It's 3 in the morning and all she has to do is open my messages?!
East: Maybe she fell back to sleep
Me: She isn't allowed to do that! He could've came back and hurt her or killed her and who knows if it truly was her that opened these messages?!
East: He was arrested
Me: They might've let him out or someone could've partnered up with him to do it! They listen to you're phone calls but they could've made up some code that sounded innocent.
East: You are overthinking this actually. Calm down. She might be sick or just need some time to herself. You know she actually had something for him and he did break fucking trust here. Give her some time Kailer.
Me: I'm too worried, I'm calling in and asking Ambrose to take over my class today. I need to see her today. I'll leave at 5 something or so.
East: Hope it goes well man. I got to get ready before class anyways. Good luck and text me!

*Kailer indeed did call in but did he actually show up? Did he go to her? Did something happen? Stay tuned...*

Day 3 of Christmas countdown

Day 200 of slowly dying by whatever sickness I fucking have.

I just popped my fucking ankle and it really fucking hurt like a bitch. My brother is off today and he better take care of his own dogs because I'm on vacation.

I actually want to throw up right now. I'm also freezing to death. My throat is trying to hurt again and it fucking sucks.

I took my temperature and it is 99.6, so I have a fever and you can tell because I have very dark pink cheeks and they are warm. My pup is cuddling his sick ass mommy. It's been a week, I might die.

Mama did come and they stayed for hours. I started not feeling good and I already have over 700 words on this page which is great and I wanna talk more I truly do but I'm not feeling too good today. Caspian isn't feeling good either and I'm freezing to death. Usually I'm burning up but today I been opposite and my stomach is extreme cramp and running to the bathroom and nausea so let's see how tomorrow is if y'all don't hear from me the rest of the night.
