K

Y/n woke up a little later for the first time, Xavier was already dressed for classes.

– You never sleep until this time, so I decided not to wake you up. – he said putting his hair in a bun.

– There's something wrong with me... – she said getting up.

– I don't think anything is wrong, things change. I'll let the teacher know that you're going to be a little late, I have to go, good morning, Y/n – leaving.

She got ready and went to the second class of the day, and when she arrived in the classroom, Wednesday was sitting next to Xavier, so she sat down between two boys.

– While most plants reward their pollinators with sweet nectar, many carnivorous varieties turn to sexual trickery or deception – Thornhill explained.

– I tweaked my back fencing. – Xavier said to Wednesday after bending over to pick up the book. "He must have moved his neck too much... Wait, didn't he trust her to say what really happened?" Y/n smiled to herself.

Y/n noticed one of the boys approaching, she looked at him who smiled in a cute way as he looked at her.

– Do you need something? – Y/n asked returning the smile.

– The orchid produces a pheromone that mimics a female insect luring the males in. Now, once the plant is pollinated, what do the male insects get in exchange? – Thornhill asked in the background.

– Well, you didn't reply to my message, so I thought I should ask in person... did you like the gift? – at first Y/n didn't understand and made a confused face, then looked to her cell phone that was on the table and looked at him again.

– Nada. Just like the guys ate the Rave'N. – Bianca said and everyone laughed except Y/n who was reasoning.

– Wait, was that you? Are you "K"? – Y/n asked smiling at him and he nodded in agreement.

– Okay, okay. I know you're all excited about Saturday, which is why I haven't assigned any homework. – everyone celebrated – But I still do need volunteers for the decorating committee. Anyone interested, come and see me up here. – Thornhill said.

– I really liked the present, you were so cute, thank you so much. Where does the "K" come from? Sorry, everyone apparently knows me, thanks to Enid's blog, but I don't know most of the students... – Y/n said shyly.

– You're not gonna volunteer? Aren't you pumped about disco balls and spiked punch? There's even a DJ. MC Blood Suckaz. – Xavier said for Wednesday "He's not going to ask her, is he?" and jealousy almost distracted her.

– I'm Kent, that's where the "K" comes from... about Rave'N, I'd like to invite you to come with me... – he said and Y/n felt like his every word was a magnet for her to accept.

– I'd rather stick needles in my eyes. I'll probably do that anyway. – Wednesday replied  and that took Y/n out of the trance, after all she wanted to invite Xavier to Rave'N.

– Can I think about it? – Y/n asked smiling at him not wanting to dump him.

– Or you could invite someone and have a little fun. – Xavier said bending down to put the book away and whimpering a little.

– Of course you can. – he said smiling, and Y/n couldn't help noticing how handsome he was, and his smile even more so.

After school, Y/n wanted to find Xavier to invite him to Rave'N, but he wasn't at school, so she focused on following the scent of his blood.

She flew towards him to be a little faster, stopping on top of a small house that on the outside seemed abandoned, finding him and he wasn't alone.

– Would you go to the dance with me? – Wednesday asked him " What?! But she wouldn't rather torture herself than go to Rave'N"

– Yes, Wednesday, I would love to go to the dance with you. I thought you'd never ask. – he said.

– Neither did I. – she said leaving and when he turned around he saw Y/n, so with a little frustration she flew back to school not wanting to talk to him.

– Y/n? Wait...

Y/n found Kent on the quad with a decision made.

– Hi, red girl. – he said smiling and she never liked that nickname so much as she did now that he said it.

– I decided to accept to be your  date...
