Y/n avoided confront Xavier as much as she could about what he was hiding but after spending all night calming him down after the nightmares she was on edge.

She kept sitting on the edge of the bed and watched him sleep, she sighed in frustration and covered her face with her hands, she just wanted to help him, but if he didn't want help, what could she do?

Y/n felt Xavier's hand on her waist and she held his hand in place and looked at him with a sad face, he looked at her confused.

– Are you okay, princess? – he asked and sat down next to her.

– Yes, but not with you, apparently. And you don't even trust me to tell about the nightmares... – she said almost in a whisper looking at her hand in his and he used his other hand to cup her chin and forced her to look him in the eyes.

– I do trust you, but believe me, I can't tell you, not yet. – he said and she got up quickly and sighed in anger, crossed her arms and faced him.

– If you want to play that game, fine. I'm also hiding something from you, and I can't tell you yet. How do you feel about that, Xavier? – she asked and he looked shocked. – Good. – With that she grabbed her uniform and went into the bathroom.

When Y/n came out of the bathroom she saw that she was alone in the room, they didn't have classes together on Tuesday so she felt somewhat relieved, but sad.

{At lunch, on the quad}

Y/n was sitting alone, she wasn't hungry so she didn't get food, Enid sat next to her and then Ajax arrived and sat across from them and Y/n looked at him confused.

– Where is Xavier, Ajax? – she asked suspiciously.

– Didn't he tell you? He went to his studio. – Ajax said and Y/n felt like she needed to go after him and got up leaving Enid confused.

– Yn! Where are you going? – Enid asked but Y/n was already far away.

Halfway across the campus outside the castle she found Wednesday.

– Where are you going? – Wednesday asked as Y/n walked past her without looking back.

– Find Xavier. – Y/n said and glanced quickly behind her. – Are you coming? – she asked and Wednesday almost smiled and followed her, at some point through the trees, Fester joined them.

The three were getting closer to the studio and Y/n didn't want Xavier to see them so she stopped suddenly and turned around looking at the two who noticed her red eyes, she positioned herself between them and extended a hand to each.

– Hands. – Y/n said and Fester quickly got the message, but Wednesday hesitated. – Your hand Wednesday, trust me, time is running out. – she said and wiggled her fingers impatiently and Wednesday relented and took her hand.

In a second the three were invisible and were following in Xavier's footsteps, then they stopped to listen to him on the phone.

– I'm going to put a tracker on his bike, distract him. – Fester whispered and Y/n felt him let go of her hand.

– Hi. Um, I need to talk to you. No, like... like, right now. – Xavier spoke between pauses and Y/n felt Wednesday let go of her hand too and saw her stand behind him – Yeah, I know where that is. Okay, I can meet you there in, like, 20 minutes. Okay. Bye. – he hung up the phone and Y/n remained invisible as he turned around and was surprised to see Wednesday.

– Who're you talking to? – Wednesday asked.

– It's none of your goddamn business. – he replied putting the phone in his pocket.
