When Y/n tasted the food and realized that indeed tastes had changed she was surprised while at the same time horrified at what was happening to her.

- Drinks can be even better than the food... - she said and laughed.

- I didn't know you could eat human food, Y/n. - Enid said as she sat down next to Y/n who looked at her smiling and Wednesday sat down too - Wait, your eyes... - she said confused.

- Long story, I can try to explain in your room later, not here, okay? - Y/n asked still smiling at Enid who smiled and nodded as Ajax arrived and sat next to Xavier.

- Why is no one talking about what happened this morning and the replaced tables? - Ajax asked curious and confused and Y/n looked away from everyone and stared at Xavier who didn't know what to answer.

- Weems told everyone not to comment about it until she found out what really happened and who caused it. - Wednesday said looking suspiciously at Xavier and Y/n's exchange of glances.

- Maybe it's another prank, like in Rave'N... - Enid said smiling and Ajax smiled at her in agreement.

{ In Enid's room}

Enid and Y/n were sitting across from each other on her bed as Enid painted Y/n's nails black while Wednesday was out doing her investigations.

- Are you going to start telling me what happened to you? - Enid asked finishing Y/n's nails.

- Well, I heard that my father and a doctor studied the other vampire who was just like me, he became mortal, they discovered that it was for love, apparently love is strong enough to undo the immortal genes. - she replied while looking at her nails and Enid widened her eyes and smiled.

- And do you think this is happening to you because you really fell in love with Xavier? - she asked excitedly placing her hands on Yn's thighs unintentionally opening the claws, causing two or three scratches on Y/n, who gave a little cry of pain and Enid took her hands quickly, noticing that Y/n's eyes turned red for a few seconds and returned to the previous color and the scratches disappeared.

- It's okay, apparently I'm not completely mortal yet... - Y/n said smiling and Enid smiled nervously.

- Anyway, you really are the most amazing being I've ever known, so powerful, and now I find out that love makes you mortal, that's so romantic, you and Xavier will grow old together now! - she said cheering up again and intertwining one of her hands with Y/n's who smiled.

At that moment two letters passed under the door and the two got up and took them, Enid took the light pink envelope that had her name written in silver and Y/n took the red envelope that had her name written in gold.

- "Meet me at our secret place tonight at 9pm, Ajax." - Enid read the letter and clutched it to her chest, bouncing up and down - What is written on yours?

- "Meet me at my art studio at 9pm, Xavier." They share the same neuron. - she said rolling her eyes and laughing with Enid, not telling her that actually Xavier called her to the Nightshade's library, she knew that Enid wasn't part of it.

Y/n wore a knee-length dress with long sleeves, she entered the secret library and noticed that there were several lighted candles and a decorated round table in the center with a pizza on top, she smiled and stopped in front of the table, she jumped in fright when she felt arms around her waist and quickly turned around seeing that it was Xavier.

- Hey, calm down, it's me. - he said smiling and she looked him in the eyes smiling too and putting her arms around his neck - You look beautiful, as always. - he said with his forehead on hers, and she gave him a long peck then whispered a "thank you, Xav" and they broke the hug, he pulled the chair for her and she sat down and he went to sit down too.

- How did you bring these things here without anyone seeing? - Y/n asked.

- I have my skills. – he said and they exchanged smiles.

They ate and drank, exchanging affectionate phrases and compliments, Y/n spoke many times about how good pizza was and that she could eat it every day.

When they finished, Xavier got up pulling her to pay attention to her portrait that stood out among the others.

– I don't want to hide it from you... – she started and Xavier looked at her confused – I came here with my dad and I ended up seeing the finished picture, I'm sorry I spoiled the surprise, you didn't tell me you had finished and my dad distracted me so much that I forgot to tell you...

– You've been through a lot in three days, I don't care if you've seen it before, I just want to know if you like it. – Xavier said as he cupped her chin and looked passionately into her eyes, Y/n looked at the painting once more and smiled.

– I loved it, Xav, it's definitely my favorite portrait from now on. – she said and looked into his eyes kissing him and then leaned her forehead against his.

– I also have something to confess... – he said and sighed and she looked him in the eyes waiting for him to speak again – the nightmares with the monster are back, I dreamed about the old Gates mansion too, I don't quite understand what kind of connection I have with all this, just wanted to let you know.

– I've noticed that you've been moving around a lot in your sleep lately, I should have known that was it, don't worry my love, let's figure it out together and end this damn monster. – Y/n said and he smiled kissing her again.
