Betrayal

Everything seemed too normal for Y/n, but expectations dropped as soon as she realized Wednesday hadn't shown up all day.

Xavier said during lunch that he would spend the day at the studio and invited her but she declined and apologized, she wanted to make sure that Wednesday was on campus, after looking for a long time, she decided to talk to Weems.

- I have no idea what exactly she went to do, she's been going behind my back even after we formed an alliance, unbelievable... - Y/n spoke pinching the bridge of her nose and Weems sighed in frustration, at that very moment the phone rang and Weems answered it with a simple "Hello".

- Principal Weems, it's Valerie Kinbott. Wednesday Addams just barged into my office. - Y/n heard, her voice sounded worried, " So she went to confront Kinbott alone..."

- I wasn't aware that Wednesday had a session today. - Weems said confused and Y/n was even more upset.

- She didn't, and her behavior was completely irrational. - and suddenly she stopped talking and there was something crashing and banging, Y/n was alarmed.

- Dr. Kinbott? - Weems called and got no answer as the banging continued - Dr. Kinbott? - she tried again and the only thing heard were fierce roars and screams.

- That was the Hyde, we have to go and we don't have time to use a car. - Y/n spoke quickly and grabbed Weems by the wrist going to the big window, opening it abruptly and her wings showed, Weems clung to her body that took flight, her body no longer had the same strength to fly as before but they still arrived to Kinbott's office in record time.

Inside the office they found Kinbott on the verge of death with many injuries, Wednesday by her side, blood and broken things were all over the place, Y/n told Weems what she was going to do and took Kinbott in her arms going to the hospital using her invisibility not to alarm people with all the blood, the situation was too serious for questions to be asked by the medical team who quickly took her from Y/n's arms.

Y/n cleaned what she could of the blood that had soiled her clothes and hands in the hospital bathroom, back at the waiting area she found Weems and Wednesday and sat down next to her.

- What happened?! - Y/n snapped to Wednesday, who shivered in surprise.

- I confronted her and left the office but as soon as I heard the screams I came back, it was the Hyde, I didn't see it but I know it was. - Y/n was angry.

- You could have been hurt too, maybe died if you stayed a few more seconds, Wednesday! And you're going to have to explain why you confronted her, you did it without even telling me anything. - Y/n said almost yelling and they saw the sheriff come out of one of the hallways and they got up going in front of him.

- She's gone. Dr. Kinbott's dead. - he said and Y/n sighed.

- This ends now. - Wednesday said and left them, Y/n followed quickly and grabbed her arm outside the hospital.

- Where do you think you're going? You need to tell me exactly why you confronted Kinbott, now, Wednesday! - Y/n spoke and Wednesday didn't dare to react against Y/n's grip, seeing the danger in her red eyes, Y/n took a deep breath and released her, heading to a less crowded area around the hospital.

- Bianca found me this morning saying she had information, she took me to the secret library and the mayor's son was there, he handed me the files the mayor had on someone he was looking for, Laurel Gates, her body was never found. The Gates mansion was purchased a year ago by a 90-year-old candy heiress. She then mysteriously died and gave all of her belongings to her caregiver, Teresa L. Glau. - Wednesday said.
