Hospital Visit

After finishing the "art session" Y/n and xavier had gone back to their room, taken a shower and were watching Dorian Gray before bed, after the movie they exchanged some kisses and cuddles and fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Again Y/n was behind a man sitting in front of a mirror, but she had a knife against his throat and she recognized him.

–I'm sorry my son, this has to be done. – Y/n said to her son, Vlad, and slit his throat.

The dream changed scenery and she found herself going towards a man similar to her son, who was going to enter a church, she hugged him and then stuck a dagger in his heart."

Y/n woke up panting and sat up in bed hugging her knees and xavier woke up a bit startled and put an arm around her shoulders and held her hand.

– Are you okay? It was another nightmare wasn't it? – he asked giving kisses on her face – Want to tell me about them? – Y/n shook her head negatively – It's okay, anyway I'm here with you, my princess.

– I promise I'll tell you about it one day, I just...

– Shh, it's okay. You just have to tell me if you want. – he said and pulled her to lay down spooning with their hands intertwined.

Y/n took a while to sleep again thinking about this being the reason she didn't read the book that tells her story "I'm a monster, a murderer... as my father said."

{ Next day after lunch}

– What do you want to do today? – Xavier asked as they walked down the halls hand in hand.

– I was thinking of visiting Eugene, seeing how well he's recovering.

– It's a great idea, I don't know if he gets many visitors, he was kind of lonely. – Xavier replied in a rather sad tone.

{ At the hospital}

They were surprised to find principal Weems in the room where eugene was hospitalized.

– Y/n, Xavier, I'm glad to see you visiting eugene, he hasn't been getting many... – Weems said.

– How is he? – Y/n asked getting close to the bed.

– He's doing pretty well considering the serious injuries the monster caused. – Weems replied.

– You know I can help him recover faster, I'm sure you read the last Principal's notes. – Y/n said and Xavier got confused.

– We're not sure how it actually works... – Weems started to speak but was interrupted.

– I know exactly how it works, get me a syringe and make sure no nurses come in. – Y/n said and Weems left the room.

– What will you do? – Xavier asked.

– In short, the last time I was at Nevermore Academy a student fell out of a tree and one of the branches somehow severed an artery in his throat, I was close by and I saw him fall, so I slashed my wrist and let my blood fall into the wound... Obviously I had to explain this to the Principal and he made sure it didn't get out there. – she explained and Xavier nodded finally understanding as principal Weems returned and discreetly handed Y/n the syringe.

– Be quick, miss L/n. – Weems said and left closing the door.

Y/n opened the package and prepared the syringe right after piercing her own vein and drawing a small amount of blood as Xavier watched speechlessly.

With the syringe ready she punctured Eugene's blood tube injecting her blood, then she hid the syringe in her pocket.

– Now a recovery of weeks can only take one. – Y/n said smiling.

– You are full of surprises. – Xavier said and Weems entered again with a nurse.

– You will be fine soon Eugene. – Y/n said holding Eugene's hand and then left the room with Xavier passing by Weems giving her a nod.

– Can we go through the Weathervane? I want to have a coffee before we go back. – Xavier said as they leave the hospital.

– Of course, Xav... – Y/n said hugging his arm as they walked.

{ In the Weathervane}

They sat at one of the tables and Tyler came with a frown to serve them.

– Not having a good day today, Ty? – Y/n asked.

– Tyler, please. What will you want? – he asked.

– An espresso for me and watch your mouth with her. – Xavier said and Tyler raised his hands in surrender.

– Won't ask for anything, Y/n? – Tyler asked and Y/n shook her head negatively – I'll be right back. – he said lefting.

– Maybe he just has a bad day...

– I hope so. – Xavier said and Y/n laughed and she started to think that if she was going to take their relationship seriously, she should be completely honest with Xavier... and read the book with him and let him choose if a monster like her is still worth dealing with.

– Y/n your eyes... – Xavier said.

– My eyes... What? – she asked confused.

– They aren't red...
