December 8th ~ Nightmare before Christmas
It's Christmas morning today
But no presents lie beneath the tree
Santa never came
All the stockings hang there bare
Cookies uneaten and milk never drank
The fire doesn't glow
the Christmas lights don't shine
Even all the decorations are gone
No gifts wrapped in red and green
No tall green Christmas tree
No Christmas lights are twinkling
No Christmas cookies are baking
All the children were so scared
Because this was their Christmas nightmare
But Lucy realized that this was all wrong
Christmas hadn't actually gone
Christmas isn't about how many gifts you receive
Remember Jesus only had three
Christmas can still come without a Christmas tree
Happiness isn't found in a cardboard box
"I think" said Lucy "there is something we all forgot"
Today is not about gifts or boxes or bags
It's not about lights or cookies or trees
Christmas is a day that's holy
Today is the day we celebrate Jesus Christ
The Birthday Boy; Who died to save our lives
The Pevensies smiled and hugged their sister tightly
Peter kissed her head "I'm so proud of you Lucy" He said
Lucy gave her family a smile
I'm glad I'm spending today with you all

A/N: I think this could probably be better, but I really like the meaning of it.
