December 23rd ~ The Christmas Tree
Tall green and sturdy
That's what makes an evergreen tree
Decorated with dozens of twinkling lights
And so many shiny colorful ornaments
Now The Christmas Tree is perfect
But maybe you're Christmas tree isn't tall and green
Maybe it's small and all the needles keep falling
You think It's hopeless and hardly a tree at all
Well let me tell ya you've got it all wrong
The size of your tree isn't what matters
No matter how big you can still make it beautiful
Just add some lights and colorful ornaments
And at the bottom maybe a bright blue blanket
I promise your tree will look magnificent
Because Christmas isn't about Christmas trees
Or the number of gifts you receive
It's about spending time with your family
And celebrating the greatest gift of all
When a baby was born in a manger
