December 7th ~ "Are you warm enough?"
Sweater, stockings and scarf
Sat by the fire to try and warm up
It's twenty below freezing outside today
Much too cold for Lucy to play
The fire burns bright, but she is still cold
Like I said, it is twenty below
So she sips hot chocolate and tries to warm her soul
For it's the cold you feel all the way down to your toes
But Lucy doesn't let the cold weather get her down
For she still sings Christmas carols and dances all around
"For this" she says "is what Christmas is all about"
