December 13th ~ Lost in a Snowstorm
Flakes fly towards her face as she is lost in a storm
Her heart feels completely torn
Her feet feel heavy as she trudges through the snow
Wondering if she will ever make it home
But even there she'll still be all alone
She's looking for much more than a way out
Susan needs to find herself
She's lost in a storm and can't see straight
She doesn't know which way is right
Trapped in a snowstorm for so long now
She wants to escape but doesn't know how
Will the storm ever end or will she be lost forever?
It doesn't feel like it now, but someday it will get better
No winter lasts forever spring always comes again
They'll be another day of bright sunshine
The storm will end and Susan will find her way home
She'll find what she's been looking for all along
She will be found through the word of God
Nothing else will fill the void or take away the pain
Nothing in this world can save us the way that God can
