Kale's POV

It's been three days since the last time I saw Yvaine and it's getting harder every day. I couldn't stop myself from crying and taking all the blames I have within myself. My parents and friends are all so supportive and became my source of strength. Pero habang tumatagal na wala akong nakukuhang bagong balita tungkol sa kalagayan ni Yvaine ay hindi ko maiwasang mapaisip.

Is she okay? I've been asking myself a lot of questions and all I could get is blaming. Kumakain ka siya? Kung nasaan man siya pinapakain kaya siya?

The authorities are reviewing the footages coming from the cctv's inside that gas station. They told me yesterday that they have a lead but still chose to dig deeper since it's not good to take actions just like that.

"Matulog ka din, Kale" saad ng mom ni Yvaine.

I sadly smiled at her, "Hindi ko kaya tita" naiiyak kong sambit.

I felt my mom caressing my shoulder, ang dad ko at dad ni Yvaine ay nakabantay dun sa mga pulis. They've managed the authorities while my friends are having their own investigation.

"Nagreply na ba yung secretary mo? Lagpas isang linggo na yung leave niya ah" sabi ni Kim.

I don't know but the moment I've heard Jennifer's name, I know there's something off about her. Ayoko lang din namang maghinala dito kaya I'm trying to contact Kathy too. Siya lang naman ang makakaalam kung tama ba ang hinala ko o hindi.

"You said she doesn't reply, how about to Kathy? For sure naman nagrereply yun sila lang naman ang close" ani Ailee.

"I told her about the situation, she's trying to collect informations" tugon ko.

Kagabi ko lang siya nakausap and hopefully kapag tinawagan ko siya ulit ngayon ay may maganda na siyang ibabalita. I don't want to sit here anymore. I want to find my baby, clean and in a good situation.

"Nakuha namin yung plate number ng sasakyan. Do you know someone named, Jennifer Archiento?"

"Jennifer Archiento? She's my secretary... paanong sakanya ang sasakyang nakita sa cctv?" gulat na tanong ko.

Hindi ko alam kung anong irereact ko. Kahit naman hindi ko aminin ay malaki din talaga ang tiwala ko sa taong yun. She was a trusted friend and I couldn't help but think of things that might have pushed her to commit such crime. Her attraction.

"Where do we find her then?" tanong ng dad ni Yvaine.

"We'll provide a warrant of arrest first, hindi natin siya puwedeng dakpin hanggang walang napapatunayan"

"And what? What if she'll do something? Kawawa ang bata" hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni mom.

"Maghintay lang tayo dito ma'am... check your phone or try to contact someone to spy on her house. I'm sure she's just hiding her somewhere"

"Anong sabi ni Kathy? Can you call her please?" ani mom ni Yvaine.

Ilang beses pang nag ring ang phone ni Kathy bago niya yun sagutin. It was loud and I couldn't hear her. Ilang segundo lang ay nawala ang ingay. Maybe she went outside.
