ID:542
C: Dangerous
CP: 542 is to be held in a vacuum-sealed safe. The head of 542 and any surrounding organs are to be preserved by a special formaldehyde (atmospheric pressure 5% normal atmospheric pressure) at 100°C for 14 days to prevent decomposition. It is not necessary for the head to be transported for observation purposes, though it is strongly recommended.
D: 542 is a human skull found in the Cairo suburb of Giza on {redacted information}.
The skull exhibits anomalous properties after undergoing up to {redacted} procedures in which it is hit with various projectiles and metallic objects (up to a maximum of 4-5). This process does not leave any visible injury to the skull, in spite of the skull being essentially untouched. After about 2 hours, the skull will begin to rot and will eventually crumble to dust, leaving a white powdery substance on the ground around it. Following this, 542s face will reassemble itself into a similar facial expression as before.
Tests performed on 542 demonstrate that the skull's anomalous properties are not based on external manipulation of the skull itself, and are instead driven by the "vicarious process", the way 542s brain perceived the injury that occurred to the skull. For instance, in tests performed on the skull and in the presence of personnel wearing radiation suits, no visible signs of 542s injuries would appear.
542 was found by twoboys playing near a forest, after an entire tree fell on them. The skull wasretrieved and placed in a local police station and was not explained to thelocal police by the boys, though. At this time, it is unknown as to how or whenthe skull became contaminated with 542s anomalous properties. Further testingis required to determine its origin.
