Chapter 8

It was Saturday, The WEEKEND! YEAA! For the past week I'd been hanging out with Ryder alot and we were becoming really good friends, except he's cuter. I was going to meet Jackie for a hang out day so I had to get ready. I got out of bed and showered really quick then went to my room. I went to my closet and I decided to put on high waisted black leggings with a crop top sweater that said "Cute As F#%K" on it in black letters and the sweater was grey and I put on my black Sperry's. I put on mascara and eyeliner and put my hair in a messy side braid and put little black earrings that were bows. I grabbed another army jacket on top that was green because it was starting to get cooler. I'm by myself at the house because Jared and dad are working, and Brook and Wyatt are at school (college) right now.
I got my keys and phone and locked the door on my way out.
I drove to the cafe we were meeting at. I was coming to a crossing, my phone started ringing, it was Ryder. I smiled at the name he put for his contact : SEXAYY BEAST
"Hello ?"
"Hey what are you doing ?"
"Oh I'm just-"
It all happened so fast. The car didn't see me and it was speeding. Everything was in slow motion.The windshield breaking , the airbag, the crash.
Then it all stopped. And all I heard was,
"Alex?! ALEX!What happened ?!
Alex!" Ryder's voice coming from my phone before everything went black.

Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.
Ughhhhh that's sound is annoying .
"Alex." Who was calling me ?
"Alex!" The voice was closer
"ALEX !" my eyes snapped open, the light stung my eyes. Where was I?What happened? Then everything came back in a flash. The car crash, the glass, Ryder's voice coming from my phone.
"Alex ?" I looked to the side and saw someone who made me smile .Ryder.
"Hey " My voice was cracky and dry , I needed some water.
"Here." he handed me a water and I sat up a little bit and drank some.
"Thanks ." then a beat passed and...
"OH MY GOD ALEX I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE DRIVING, IF I DID I WOULDN'T HAVE CALLED YOU AND JEEZ I'M SUCH A-"
"RYDER!"I had to yell to get him to stop, he was so fucking adorable when he rambled.
"It's okay I'm fine and not dead. All I got was a little scratch on my stomach." I was trying to lighten the mood a little.
"But you could have. Because of me." Ohh he felt guilty and he shouldn't because it wasn't his fault so that's what I decided to tell him.
"Come here." I told him to get on the bed with me, he did as told and I hugged his head to my stomach ,and stroked his brown locks.
I made him look in my eyes. Blue to green and I told him,"It's.Not.Your.Fault. And it never was got it? " I wanted him to understand.
He nodded and put his head back down. I felt these t little butterflies in my stomach when he wrapped his arms around my stomach and rubbed his fingers over the scratches. That's when I realized something. Ryder was the first person for me to wake up to , I'm sure the others were outside but he was here with me now . Ryder's such a supportive and caring boy, maybe that's why I like him so much.
Wait.
WHAT.
I liked Ryder .
Like ,like liked him.

After the doctors checked menu was free to go. It was just me and Ryder now but every one had came. Even dad. Jackie came and saw me a to make sure I was okay and then had to go because she had to go to a family reunion with her mom. Wyatt and Brook left a couple of hours ago cuz they had exams. And Jared and dad left back to work to pay this months bills. I was happy that dad had come to see me, I mean it was a step in the right direction. I really didn't want to be alone tonight . So I wanted to ask Ryder if it was okay to stay with him.
"Hey Ryder ?"
"Yeah ?"
" Is it okay if I stay at your place tonight, I really don't wanna go home to an empty house." I was blushing so hard it wasn't even funny.
"Of course you can stay at my place, let go."
"okay thank you."
He had brought his car intsead of his bike and we drove to his house in comfortable silence.
When we got there, nobody was home. I guess he was lonely too.
"Your mom isn't here ?"
"No, she and my dad went to one of his work banquets and won't be back till Tuesday."
"Oh that makes sense."
"I'll go get you some clothes."
I just nodded. I went into the family room and sat down on the couch, there was a little table next to it with a picture frame.I picked it up and looked at it. In the picture was a smaller Ryder, probably 8, and a man and a woman hugging each other lovingly while Ryder held the lady's hand. Ryder had a huge grin on his face and the man and woman were looking at each other with...love.
"Alex."
"Oh! I'm sorry I -I was just looking..." I was so embarrassed. He just chuckled
"It's okay that's one of my favorite pictures."
"You look so adorable."
"Yeah yeah go change."
"Fine Mr.grump butt."
I took the clothes he gave me and went to go change. When I put on the clothes I looked like a dwarf. He had given me a black t shirt and a red pair of plaid boxers. I washes my face and took off my makeup and brushed my teeth with my finger.I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF YOU THINK IT'S GROSS I AM NOT GOING TO BED WITH NASTY BREATH. I walked back into the family room where Ryder was already changed. I can sum it up in one word how he looked. Sexy. He was wearing a black muscle tank that looked real good on him. And plaid sleeping pants like the boxers I was wearing that hung low on his hips. I bit my lip and just stood there checking him out. I guess he noticed me.
"It's not nice to stare. I mean I know I'm hot but it's weird."
I was caught off guard and I bushed madly .
"I-I was not !"
He looked at me for the first time and his eyes raked over my body. Like god I was just in pj's, but I blushed even harder. His eyes met mine , but he had a mischievous glint in his.
"Are you sure ?" he took a step towards me, I took a step back.
"uh um yes."
one step forward, one step back.
"positive ?"
" uhhm"
another step forward, another step back but I hit the wall. He trapped me in his arms and brought his face close to my neck.
"Really now ?" his nose grazed my jaw, driving me nuts.
"Mhm" all I could do is him, I was afraid me voice would give me up.
Suddenly his lips were on my neck. God it felt so good, his lips were like fire against my skin.He kissed all over my neck until he hit a spot that felt the best. He focused on that one spot , first biting it then licking over it to cool it and then he blew on it. I was going mad, my head was spinning, I couldn't think straight. Ryder started kissing up my neck and jaw and was making his way to my lips. He was so close until I got an idea. I put a hand over his lips the second he was leaning in.
"If you want a kiss you gotta work for it." then I ducked out form his arms and ran. I don't know where but I just ran up the stairs. I was in for a looong night.
