Oh my God. Oh my God.Oh my God. I was such a idiot! I had tears running down my cheeks but I wiped them away . I had to focus. I couldn't have another accident. Oh my God this is all my fault. Why was I so stupid?

I was getting ready to go to Ryder's house I had already showered and needed to get dressed . It was snowing hard I think a blizzard was coming. I put on thick leggings with my black uggs and put on a long sleeved black shirt with a green cardigan that belonged to Ryder. I put little black rose studs in my ears and let my hair down. I put on Ryder's black leather jacket on top to keep me warm. I went downstairs and got into my car and drove off. When I got there the door was wide open which was weird. I went upstairs to Ryder's room.
"Ryder?"
His room was cracked open. I looked in.
"Why her? I'm so much better than she is baby."
"I'm not your baby. Now leave Melissa ."
Melissa? The bitch from the restaurant? I had barely been listening to what they were saying but it broke my heart to pieces.
I opened the door and they both snapped their heads to look at me. Melissa had Ryder trapped against the wall and he look irritated at her and looked surprised at me. Melissa sneered at me.
"Why is she here? Oh look she's crying." I hadn't even realized I was crying until Melissa pointed that out.
My throat felt like it was clogged with cotton. I couldn't say anything. I had nothing to say. I just turned and ran downstairs to my car .
"Princess! Come back!" Ryder ran after my car. I just drove and drove.

I had ended up in the park it was around 9 now. I had been ignoring Ryder all day. Not answering any of his calls. I didn't want to hear what he had to say. Actually Ryder stopped calling me about a little more than half an hour ago. Suddenly my phone rang. It was Jared.
"Hello?"
"Alex! You need to get to the hospital right now!" My stomach dropped from what he said.
"Why? What happened Jared?" I demanded.
"It's Ryder. " my heart lurched. I got up from the bench I was on and went to my car.
"Jared what happened to Ryder. "
"*Sigh* Apparently he was upset about something and he got himself drunk and then he got onto his bike during the storm . He got into an accident. " I had gone to the park after the storm so I wouldn't get stuck in traffic. Oh no. Shit!
"Was he really upset about something? "
"Yeah the bartender that saw him said he kept saying ' she's gone. She hates me. I hate me. Why didn't she let me explain? I lost my princess! ' and then he had walked out."
"Oh Fuck."
"Alex did you and Ryder get into a fight?"
I was crying now.
"Yes. Earlier I had gone to his house and his ex was there and she was telling him to leave me and he kept saying no. And I went into the room and she had him against the wall. And, and..."
"Alex did you I've him a chance to explain? " I paused.
"No I just walked out and drove off. I've been ignoring him all day."
"Wait. Alex you mean the ex that you told us about. What's her name? Millicent?"
"Melissa. And yes that's her."
"ALEX! That's girl that broke his heart in the 10th grade right?"
"Yes."I said meekly.
"Alex he probably thought you didn't want to be with him anymore!"
I thought about it and it all made sense.
"NO! NO THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED!"
"Alex we'll talk when you get here. Just hurry."
He hung up.
No. I can't lose him too.

I pulled into the hospital parking lot and parked then ran inside.
Jared was in the lobby waiting for me.
"Alex!"
"Jared take me to him." He nodded and we took the elevator to level 5.
"He's in room 207" I just ran when the doors opened and ran to find the room my boyfriend was in. I found it and I jut barged inside. There he was lying on the cot. I was sobbing at the sight of him.
I walked up to his cot and looked at him. His lip and eyebrow was busted and there was a smallish scratch on the side of his neck. He had small stitches running up the inside of his wrist. I took his hand and kissed it. My tears fell onto his hand.
"Please wake up. I need you. I can't lose you too. Not after mom, not you too..." I hung my head in my hands trying to stop the tears but they kept coming. I sobbed onto his chest.
"Please Ryder,please. "
Then I felt a hand run over my hair softly.
"Princess."
I almost didn't hear but I did . My head snapped up.
"Ryder!"
"Hey princess. " he smiled. Even when he's all beat up he can smile. I hugged him tightly.
"Why did you scare me like that? "
"I thought you didn't want to love me anymore. "
"Why would you think that?" I stroked his face and looked into his eyes.
"Believe me. It wouldn't be the first time. "
"What do you mean?"
He sighed.
"Melissa messed me up really bad. She just stopped loving me one day. She was the first girl I thought I was in love with but I was wrong. "
"How?"
"Because I'm in love with you princess. "
"I'm sorry. For not listening, if I had just listened..."
"No I'm sorry princess I shouldn't have scared you like that please forgive me."
I just kissed him. Softly and sweetly.
"I'm just glad you're okay. "
"I'm just glad you're still my princess. "
I smiled.
"Always."
