Once Apon A Heartbreaker

Chapter 23

So I had to go back the day after for the necklace but it came out beautiful. It was two plates they were a dark metallic gray and on one it said :
'From your princess, I'll love you
Always.'
And on the other tag it said:
Alex + Ryder = A love we share.
It was beautiful and I couldn't wait to give it to him later today. You know what, I'll try to make him a cake too. Try. I haven't cooked in so long so I might fuck up. I went to the kitchen and took out the bowls, eggs,milk, batter, and the other ingredients. I was gonna do this just fine.

45 minutes later.

Nothing. I had nothing done except for broken eggs, a messy kitchen, and flour all over me. I had no idea what I was doing. Usually my family just bought cake. NOT MAKE IT. Even when mom was here, we didn't make cake of stuff like that we went to the store and bought it. I was gonna do this. I started over again. I put the eggs in the bowl, then added the flour and batter and milk. I mixed it carefully(last time I put salt instead of sugar) and added sugar and a bit of cinnamon. I mixed for a little while and put the batter into a round pan. I put the pan carefully. I set it to about 30 minutes and cleaned up the mixing mess from before. I took out the frosting and design things. The oven ticked off and I took out the cake and put it on the counter to cool for a little bit. When it cooled I started with the frosting. I put buttercream frosting on the outside all over the cake first. Then I put little red raspberries in the middle and sprinkled powdered sugar on top of them. I took the red buttercream frosting and on the sides I put four little hearts around it. I backed up to look at the cake. I did it! I made CAKE! I put the cake on a platter and put the lid over it. I picked up a sticky note and wrote 'touch this cake you die' just as a reminder to the boys. I took Ryder's necklace and put it in a little wrapped gift box with a bow.I placed it next to the platter. I cleaned up the kitchen real quick and went upstairs to shower and get dressed. I got out of the shows and went back into my room. I went to my closet. Ryder would be here in 15 minutes with dinner. I put on black stockings and put on a black leather skater skirt with a cheetah print crop top with a sweetheart neckline that I tucked into the skirt. I put on my black lace up ankle boots. I let my hair down and straightened it then curled the ends so they bounced and put on mascara and winged eyeliner and slightly pink lipstick to make my lips look more pink and soft .
I put little gold studs in my ears and put on a little bit of perfume. The doorbell rang and I rushed downstairs. Before I opened the door I yelled.
"Are you guys gone ?" Yep they left. I took in Ryder. He wore a dark blue dress shirt with black skinny jeans and his black boots. And a brown leather jacket on top. He did his hair in a messy quiff that looked adorable. He came in and hugged me with one arm because he had dinner in his other hand . He buried his face in my neck.
"You look beautiful."
"You look sexy." He pulled back and raised an eyebrow.
"Sexy?"
"Yes. Very SEXAYY!" I was so happy and hyped up. What was there not to be happy about. I'm here on Valentine's day with my boyfriend who I love very much, annd I MADE CAKE BY MYSELF

I'm such a strange child.
"Let's eat." I dragged him to the table.
"Look what I made you." I was excited to show him the cake. I pulled it out of the platter and held it on the plate. I put it in front of him and he had the biggest grin on his face.
"For me?" I nodded .
He got up and kissed me on the nose.
"Can I give you your gift?"
"Yeah." I was excited.
He got down on one knee. Hold up! HOLD THE FUCK UP! WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I KNOW HE WAS NOT ABOUT PROPOSE TO ME RIGHT?! I LOVE THE GUY BUT NOT YET! He laughed he just fucking laughed.
"Don't worry I'm not proposing."
"Oh God! You scared me."
"Okay close your eyes." I closed them.
"Hold out your hand." I did so.
He put something on my ring finger. I opened them and I almost cried at what I saw. It was a promise ring. It was beautiful, it was a single band that wrapped around my finger and it made a small heart at the front with three little diamonds where the ends stopped. It fit perfectly.
"It was my grandma's she told me to give it to the girl o cherished and lived most. There's an engraving on the inside too." I slipped it off and looked inside the band. Inside it said 'For a love like ours...' I looked up at him and smiled through my tears.
"It was your grandma's?"
"Yeah."
"Ryder I can't take this!"
"Why not?"
"Its too special for me to have."
He took my hands.
"You are the most special girl I've ever met and I'm in love with you and all your flaws. " I hugged his neck and he kissed me deeply. I pulled back and went back into the kitchen. I put his little gift in front if him. Ryder opened it and smiled at the tags.
"These are for me?"
"Duh!"
He smiled fondly at them.
"I like that look ."
He got a confused expression on his face.
"What look?"
"The one you get when you're really happy ."
"I only get that look when I'm with you."
He got up hugged once again.
"I love you princess."
"I love you more bad boy."
