A/n just a note to let you guys know I wrote this after I wrote the main story part the date at the end was the day it ended as well but it started too. Love this book like I do.

I was so excited. Today Melissa and I were celebrating our 5 month anniversary. We were gonna go to my best friends house. He was throwing a party there. I drove to his house and got out of my car. When I walked in the party it was in full swing. But as I walked through people kept looking at me. Some looked at me and others just didn't look at all. And I felt like everyone squirmed around. As I walked towards the back of the house it got worse. Until I reached the back den. I saw there something that shattered my heart into a million pieces. My girlfriend was straddiling my best friend. They were having a heavy make out session on his couch. Everyone in the room said nothing they just watched for my reaction.
"What. The. Fuck." They both flipped thier heads in my direction. Melissa scrambled off Jake but it was too late I saw Everthing.
"Uh Ryder it's not what it looks like."
"Bullshit." She flinched back. I never cussed out at her. I always had to bite my tongue.
"And you!" I turned to Jake. He looked pale.
"How long has this been going on?!HOW LONG?! MELISSA?"
she looked down and mumbled.
"What?" I didn't hear her.
"Two months! There happy?" If I had any more of my heart left it was just stomped on.
"It was hardly that long Ryder. You were just kinda boring you know." HARDLY THAT LONG?!IT SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN STARTED!!! I WAS SO BETRAYED AND HURT. SHE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON AT HOME AND SHE WAS NEVER THERE SHE ALWAYS MADE UP EXCUSES TO NOT GO.
"I'm DONE. WE.ARE.OVER."
I turned around and left that party.
"WHAT?! Ryder! Ryder sweetheart stop playing. Come back here!"
I just never turned back. She broke my trust. She broke my friendship with Jake. And most of all she broke my heart. To fuck with love.
I vowed from that day on I'd never let anyone get close to me again and I'd never love again.
Never again.
