The words that she shouted at him did quite make sense in his mind. He turned around slowly and was now giving her a confused look that she was giving him. He thought that maybe he had heard wrong.
"Excuse me?" he said as he looked at the girl, perplexed.
The girl stepped off the elevator before the doors shut so she could talk to him. Her voice seemed to be a little stuck. It had been so long since she had actually spoken to another human being that her words didn't seem to want to come out. The mystery man seemed to be getting impatient, waiting for her to respond to his question.
"I- I'm- umm- Well..." the girl studdered, trying to formulate the words she was trying to say to him, but she was falling flat on her face.
"Look, if you are trying to tell me to fuck off, that's fine. I get that. I am not the greatest people person either. You could have just said nothing, and I would have gotten it. Again, miss, I am sorry for what I said," the man said before turning back on his heels and began to walk away from her again.
"Wait! No! Please don't go!" she pleaded to the young man. He stopped again and turned to her, waiting for her reply once again. "Look, I'm sorry—your right. I'm not used to talking to people. It's been so long since someone saw me, like actually saw me, that I was a little flustered when you started talking to me." she began.
The young man softened his face with understanding. He wasn't the best at speaking to people, preferring to leave that to the other members of his group. "Yeah, it's ok. I get that. I understand the feeling of being invisible too."
"No, you misunderstand," she paused. "What is your name anyways?" she pointed at him.
He was a little surprised to hear that question come out of her mouth. It was far and in between for someone not to know who he was. He gave her a surprised look before answering her. "Min Yoongi is my name. And how did I misunderstand you?"
"I'm invisible, like actually, physically invisible. No one can see or hear me," she answered.
"How can that be? I am looking right at you. I am speaking to you right now."
"That's the thing. I don't know! That's why I came here today. Yesterday, when you laughed at me, you laughed at me. I almost didn't believe it myself, but the more I thought about it, the crazier it sounded. So I came here to see you and to know if you can see me!" she blurted out.
Yoongi rubbed his forehead with frustration. He could not believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. "Look, you don't need to lie to me. There is no need to make up some crazy excuse to meet someone."
"I'm not lying! I really am invisible," she argued back.
Yoongi just threw his hands up to concede and turned to walk away from her again, walking right out of the building. The girl followed in hot pursuit. "Do you really not believe me? Why would I make something like that up? Yes, I know it sounds crazy. If I were you, I would probably think it's nuts too, but I am telling you the truth!"
Yoongi did his best to ignore the girl's lunatic rantings but found it challenging. "So, you say if you were in my shoes, you wouldn't believe you either. Yet, somehow I am just supposed to take your word? I don't even know you!"
The two, at this point, were outside of HYBE building arguing with each other. The girl threw her hands up in frustration. She was wracking her brain, trying to figure out what to say to him. She began to pace as she tried to formulate how she could convince him.
