The sunlight coming from the window sat on Peri's face, stirring her from her sleep, and notifying her of a new day. She grumbled a little as though to wish the sun away and let her return to her slumber. It had been days since she had to good night's rest. Between having to go back and sleep on the streets, via the library floor, and the nightmares, Peri, hadn't slept but only a few hours each night.
She uncurled her arms and legs, hearing her joints pop loudly, releasing the position she had been in all night. She was so exhausted that her body didn't want to move and change into a more comfortable position when she fell asleep when she fell asleep. She rose slowly, feeling the blanket keeping her warm fall to her lap. She rubbed her face and could feel how puffy she was. Being over-stressed will do that to a person.
She pulled the blanket back up her body and over her shoulders, wrapping herself tightly with the warmth of the soft fabric. She stood up and shuffled her way to the kitchen counter. The blanket's tail dragged behind her as she moved.
A bright yellow notepad sitting on her countertop caught her attention. She reached out to grab it and pull it closer to her. A series of numbers caught her attention first, but then she started from the top and began. 'Came by this morning, and you were still asleep. Good, you should get some rest today. There is food in the kitchen. EAT!' she scoffed when she read the last word, then panned off in thought. "Came by this morning?! What time is it?!" She looked over at the clock, and damn if it wasn't already noon. She had fallen asleep yesterday afternoon and didn't wake up til the following afternoon. She went back to the note and finished reading it. The number correlated to the code to get into the apartment and Genius Labs. He had given her a way into his home and work. She smiled at his gesture.
She made a steaming cup of coffee, cut pieces of fruit, and some eggs. She sat down at the table and leisurely ate her breakfast. There was no need for her to rush. The food was hers to enjoy for once.
She finished her meal and cleaned up the kitchen. She didn't need to be a sloppy house guest. Once her task was complete, she walked down the hall to the left and into the master suite. She was eager to try out the tub this time. She was even more excited to have a reason to wear one of those robes. Once inside the bathroom, she cranked the handle of the hot water tab full over. The water poured out of the faucet with rage and started filling the tub quickly. Peri's fingers wiggled as she looked over the selection of different scented bath concoctions nestled in their clear containers. She was picking them up and giving each one a sniff. She opted for the lavender and plum and poured them into the water.
Seeing the tub was filled and ready, Peri stripped off her clothes and gingerly stepped in. "Oh! hot, hot, hot!" she hissed as she slowly lowered herself down. The water splashed around as she got comfortable, letting her body get used to the scalding temperature. Her back rested against the tub's walls, and she slipped her head backward. Her body was finally relaxed, and she could now soak. "I am never leaving this bathroom," was her final thought before she closed her eyes.
The men of BTS had started their day off early. Well, a little late. Yoongi was the last to arrive. The two leaders(dance and main) furrowed their brows. It was not like him to be late. He had the excuse of running an errand before coming into the dance studio. Seeing it was probably a one-time thing, they opted to let it go and begin practicing for their upcoming show.
The practice was hard. The boys worked with their choreographer, Son Sung-deuk, for the past several hours to finalize and clean up their routines. The show was already getting buzz about how successful it would be. The tickets themselves had sold out in a matter of minutes. The show consisted of twenty fours songs, each with individual dance moves. It took a lot of time and dedication to get everything together.
