AN:

Part 2 of Namjoon and Peri's date.
I suggest you get a cool glass of water before reading

Peri could not believe what was going on in her world. There she was, sitting next to a man that she absolutely adored. She was holding his hand and looking at him in complete disbelief. Her whole life had been in a stalemate. She was not really moving forward or backward. It was stagnant and filled with the bacteria that was making life almost unbearable,  but now her life was being catapulted into a new direction.

'How did I get here?' she asked herself. 'How did I get so fortunate to be dragged into this man's orbit?' Peri's emotions were starting to run a little high. She could feel the lump in her throat starting to form in her throat as her brain battled against her being grateful for Namjoon and the others and what they had given her and the sadness of what her life was once like.

Peri opted to stay in the present. She twisted her body towards Namjoon and tucked her legs under her as they continued their ride to the next destination. Peri's one hand stayed interlocked with Namjoon's as their fingers played a silent game of war. They were tugging and twisting around each other playfully. Her other hand came up and rested on the back of the seat as Peri's fingers reached out to tuck his golden locks behind his ear. Peri's fingers traced the outer shell of Namjoon's ear. She noticed his little Stahl's ear- the tiny point at the tip of his ear making him whimsical in nature. Visions of him as Pan playing music in the forest make her giggle.

Namjoon turned to ask her what was so funny, but the driver voiced out that they had arrived. Peri didn't even notice how long they had been driving. She was too enthralled with Namjoon's loveliness to notice. When she stepped out of the vehicle, she was met with a group of small buildings covered in greenery over the tops of each roof. It gave them the appearance of hidden away bungalows you find in the Amazon, yet they were in the center of Seoul.

Namjoon thanked the driver once again for his services for the evening. He looked over at Peri and signaled her to follow him. After a few steps, she turned back around and noticed the driver getting into the front seat, placing the SUV in drive, and taking off down the road. Peri knew that wherever they were, they were on their own for the rest of the night.

Namjoon walked up the walkway of the center building. He nodded at the security officer as they walked into the lobby. He pulled out a key card and tapped the screen next to the elevator. It was a clear sign to Peri that the place was made to be secure for what she assumed to be high-ranking people like Namjoon. They stepped inside, and Namjoon hit the top button—another sign of the power of Kim Namjoon.

He took her hand as they rode the elevator up. He held it still as the short ride to the top dinged, and the door opened. Their fingers interlaced as he walked them down to the last door at the end of the long corridor.

Namjoon approached the door and punched in the code as he whispered it to Peri's ear. He was telling her the numbers to get in. "Aren't you sentimental," she cooed when she heard the sequence of numbers.

"You have no idea," he responded. The sound of the door unlocked, and Namjoon turned the door handle to open it.

When Peri first walked in, there wasn't anything to notice except a long hallway with a light gray tile floor and darker gray walls. Peri slipped off her shoes and placed them next to the collection of sneakers resting by the doorway. Despite the number of shoes, the place was quiet. Peri walked down the hall cautiously. Each step is carefully calculated, like when a cat senses something is around them.

Peri continued down the hallway as Namjoon turned on the light from the doorway. It allowed Peri to see where she was. It appeared to be a narrow galley-way kitchen with floor-to-ceiling cabinets on one side and a sink and stove on the other. Peri peeked around the corner and saw a large wooden, six-seater table and chair in the dining room.
