Another bark snapped the girl's eyes open. She took a minute to take in her surroundings again. The chocolate Dobberman was staring at her with what she could have sworn was a smile. His large body blocked any view she could see without having to get up physically.

She closed her eyes again with the remembrance of her nightmare. 'It was just a nightmare,' she reassured herself, 'Bad memories,' she told herself. She opened her eyes again and looked back up at Bam, who still seemed to be smiling at her. "Are we alone, Bam?" she asked. The dog turned his body a let out another bark. The girl propped herself on her elbow and saw his master sitting on the table, eating something out of a bowl. His chocolate brown eyes were glued to the TV screen as a cartoon played.

The girl flopped back down onto the bed with a small smile on her face. "You look a lot like him. You know that, Bam?" The Dobberman didn't answer her this time. He padded over to his owner and laid down next to him. Jungkook reached his one arm down and gave the dog a little love tap before resuming his breakfast and cartoon show.

Today, the girl had decided she did not want to get up. She felt defeated after last night's events. Min Yoongi thought she was crazy and a liar. The girl would be lying to herself if she didn't admit how broken she feels. Today was going to be a recovery day, and judging by the state of Jungkook, it was his recovery day too.

The man at the table looked tired, more than the usual early-morning sleepyhead she had seen before. A man that young a beautiful should not have bags under his eyes. She wondered what could have caused him to look so exhausted. Maybe schoolwork was overwhelming him. He seemed too young to have a serious job. Then again, to afford this place, he would need to be making some serious bank.

The front door opening pulled her from her observations and moved her attention to who was walking through the front door. "Jungkookie!" a baritone voice called out, echoing throughout the home. The call of his name brought the man back to reality, and he answered the call.

The girl's face had a look of surprise when Mr. Boxy Smile, Taehyung came waltzing through the door. She stumbled upward from the bed and moved closer to the man. Scanning the man up and down, she could confirm it was who she thought it was. 'What a small world,' she thought, 'I wonder how you to know each other? Does he know Mr. Sunshine as well?'

"Jungkookie?! You awake?" Taehyung called out to the man. "Wow! You looked tired! Did you ever sleep last night?" He walked through the house and sat next to his friend. Taehyung's face became dangerously close to the other man's, then he raised his hand and brushed the hairs that were in Jungkook's eyes, giving him that boxy smile all the while.

'Well, he must be close in friendship with him if he allowed him to get that close!' she thought.

"Ah! Tae, I barely slept at all last night. Some weird things were going on last night. I know you scare easily, but I am telling you, I think my place may be haunted!"

"What!" he declared, "Wh-What do you mean haunted? How?" Taehyung looked genuinely scared for his friend. Jungkook, although tired, did not look any more stressed than before.

"First, when I got back from walking, Bam, I could have sworn I heard a knock on the door, but then I opened it and looked around; no one was there. Then Bam started acting up, which isn't like him!"

"How do you mean acting up?" Taehyung asked, looking concerned.

"I thought I heard him jump on the mattress or maybe the couch. I don't know, but there was a heavy thump. I didn't see him do it, but where did the noise come from?" he asked his friend, who seemed all the more confused. "Then, I was trying to sleep, and Bam wasn't listening to me. Even after I got him to go to bed finally, he whined at the door all night. He just finally settled down a few moments ago."
