Peri was woken by the sound of her phone going off just above her head. She reached up and yanked it down from the small shelf it was buzzing on. Peri squinted her eyes as she adjusted to the blue light shining directly in her face. She stared at the screen while focusing on the words before her. Slowly but surely, the words started coming together to formulate sentences she could understand.
Jimin: Help, I've been kidnapped!
Jimin: He dragged me away from you to go on some shopping spree!
Jimin: He's tall. Dark brown curly hair that hangs over his smoky eyes. He calls himself V.
Jimin: Send nudes to distract.
Jimin: I know you are rolling your eyes at me.
Jimin: I miss you, though.
- It's too early for this many messages. Enjoy your shopping spree
-you saw enough nude last night.
Jimin: 🤭🤭🤭. Do you miss me?
- of course
Peri closed out on the message for another.
- Where was my invite. I was right there, too, when you dragged Jimin out of bed.
Tae: Oh, believe me, I saw. You were very hard to resist. Just the boys today, though.
-😤
Tae: I'll bring you back something shiny
-If that something shiny is you in a bow, I'll take it!
Tae: Are you flirting with me?
- you started it!
Her phone pinged back to Jimin before she could answer Tae's message.
Jimin: You'll flirt with him, but not me? I'm insulted!
- You left me alone. In bed. Naked. You could have seized the moment
Jimin: A mistake I won't make twice.
Peri closed out her phone and got up to start her day. Two of them would be gone, but the joy of having seven boyfriends is that there is always more to hang out with.
"Tell me again why we didn't invite Peri?" Jimin asked as they strolled down the sidewalk.
"I didn't want her to come," Tae stated.
"Why? I thought we were shopping for Jungkookie's birthday presents. She would have probably wanted to go. Maybe pick out something for him," Jimin told him.
"He is not the only person I am shopping for." Tae came to a stop and opened the door for Jimin to walk through.
"Ooohhh," Jimin cooed when he read the sign on the door. He quickly stepped inside, and Tae followed soon after. They removed their hats and masks while waiting for the service worker to come from the stock room.
"Good Morning, gentlemen. Do you have an appointment?" The older man said when he emerged from the back. "Oh! Mr. Kim, Mr. Park. I didn't recognize you there for a second. How are you?"
Jimin and Tae had stepped inside one of their favorite jewelry stores. They had been long-time customers of the shop owners since they started becoming more popular and could actually afford some of the customer jewelry collections.
"I'm so happy to see you boys again! So, what brings you in? Are you looking for something in particular? Do you have an event you're going to and need a piece to show off or complement your ensembles?" The gentleman asked.
