Peri woke up from her dreamless sleep and did her morning routine of pop, stretch, and yawn before walking into the bathroom. Her sleepy eyes moved around the room when she was finished. "I missed you," she told the room as she exited. She walked through the closet and raked her fingers across the hung-up clothes. She stopped in the middle and gathered the clothes in both her hands. She inhaled the scent of the fabrics deeply. "I missed you too," she said, then released the clothes and walked out of the bedroom.
She was walking past the counter and noticed something waiting for her. There was a to-go mug of coffee, a pink box full of various breakfast goodies, and a phone- her phone. Each item had a little neon yellow note with harsh, contrasting black writing sticking to them. "Drink Me." "Eat Me." "Answer Me."
"It looks like a scene from a modern-day Alice In Wonderland," Peri called out. She took a sip of the cold brew and a bite of her food with a creaming, tart center with strawberry swirls. She gathered the items and moved them to the dining room. She opened the phone's contents and saw it had one new message.

Jin: Good Morning! Here are all of our numbers so we can talk to you while we are gone.
"Aww," Peri cooed.
[Group Chat:]
- Good Morning! Thank you for the pastries and coffee!
Yoongi: Afternoon, sleepy head. Just landed. Off to the hotel to rest, then rehearsals.
Hobi: Perfect Timing!
Jin: Get some rest!
Namjoon: We'll be home soon!
Jimin: 2 weeks, six days

Peri put the phone down with satisfaction. "That will teach them!" she exclaimed. She finished up her coffee as she walked into the kitchen. Peri boxed up and stored the rest of the pastries for another day. She left the kitchen and headed back to the bathroom for a long overdue soak.
When she reemerged from the bathroom, Peri went to the dining room table and picked up her phone.
