The men arrived home, and each was assigned a job. Jin and Yoongi would cook dinner. Hobi was in charge of getting the apartment clean. He Tasked Jimin and Jungkook with cleaning alongside him. Namjoon and Tae would help with setting up the table. Although, It was mostly Tae supervising Namjoon not to drop anything after he saw Joon trying to carry five bowls of rice in his hands.

"It's getting late. Do you think she will be home soon?" Tae asked as he filled glasses of water at the table.

"She'll be here soon. Dinner is almost ready." Yoongi called out knowingly.

"Well, if we want her here faster, maybe Joon-ah should cook. She'll sense all our pain and come running!" Jimin joked as he finished up his sweeping. All of them, including Namjoon, had to blush at Jimin's joke. Namjoon knew how helpless he was in the kitchen. If it weren't for his mama, Jin, or Yoongi, he would have starved to death by now.

"Do don't have to go to extremes just yet!" Jin called out with a black apron tied around his slim figure. More laughter irrupted from them all.

"When you texted her about coming home for dinner. You didn't tell her about what all of us wanted to ask her, did you?" Tae asking another question.

"I haven't said a thing to her." Yoongi's smile was half-cocked wickedly. They weren't sure if Yoongi was lying to them or not. But for something as important as this, none suspected he would say anything to her without the rest of the men present. Yoongi did seem relatively calm, though. As if Yoongi knew something the other didn't. Maybe he knew Peri's answers before she spoke them. Maybe Yoongi had a gift for reading minds.

Less than five minutes later, Peri came strolling through the elevator doors. All the men were gathered around the table when Peri looked up. "Hey! Don't you have homes to go to?" she asked jokingly.

"We are home!" Hobi stated as he returned her teasing as he pretended to be offended by her question.

The smell of dinner wafted into Peri's olfactory senses, and she followed the scent of dinner to the kitchen. "Did you guys make dinner?" She glanced over to see smiling faces and a few head nods. "You guys are too kind. Let me go wash up, and then we can all sit down to eat. I hope you weren't waiting too long."

Jungkook had gotten up from his seat and made his way to stand next to Peri. He took his hand, placed it at the base of her back, and leaned into her. His eyes had caught Peri's figure entering the apartment, and his mind rushed forth the memory of their afternoon tryst. A desire to be near her and feel her skin under his captured his very being. Jungkook couldn't still himself any longer. "Perfect timing," he whispered in her ear, letting his lips graze against the shell of her ear.

Peri jerked her head away and stepped back away from him. She pulled her body away from his as she walked down the hall. "I'll be right back!" she called out. Jungkook snapped his head in her direction. His brows pinched themselves together, and his lips pouted. He did not like what she had just done at all. He was somewhat annoyed at the fact she had just rebuffed him when mere hours ago, she was sitting on his lap, nearly out of breath from their mouths being in constant contact. He marched down the hall to get some answers.

When he arrived in the back bedroom, Peri was turning off the faucet after she had washed her hands. He walked into the closet to meet her in the middle. He saw her open the door and flick off the light before turning her head to see him standing there.

"Hey! I was coming right back," she said with a friendly smile.

"What was that?" he snipped. His annoyance came off a little stronger than he intended.

"What was what?" she debuted, giving him the same tone he had given her.

"You know what! I came near you, and you basically jumped out of your skin! Explain that to me."
