In the dark

Yoongi held the door for Peri, and walked in together to the dance studio. The other six men were standing around and finishing the last of their waters. They finally recovered from their exhaustion and were up and ready to go for another round of choreography.

"I'll go find a corner to sit down and watch," Peri told Yoongi before disappearing into the crowd of people. Yoongi watched her bob and weave in between the crew members who were standing around. He was fascinated at how gracefully she could move around them without anyone suspecting a thing. 

There were a few times in his moments with BTS that he ever wanted to show off. Most of those times he was on stage, he had ARMY in front of him, cheering him on. At this moment, he found another reason to show off. Peri was going to be watching.

Yoongi walked over to the group. He pulled Jin and Namjoon closer to him and whispered into their ears. Their eyes peered upwards, then around the room. Their eyes stopped wandering around when they located Peri. She was settled in the far back of the room. No one was near her, and she had a straight-on shot at the boys.

"Peri is going to watch us?" Jin whispered nervously.

"Don't worry, hyung. Peri is here to support you," Namjoon said, giving his teammate a hard slap on the back.

"What is your plan, Yoongi?" Namjoon listens intently. He knew Yoongi had something up his sleeve by the look on his face.

"I want to put on a show for her. Really put on a show for her. She'll never be given a chance to see us live. I want to give her a view of what it would be like. Give her all we got." Yoongi stated.

"What about the others? Should we tell them?" Jin asked.

"Nah! They will be good on their own, plus if they know Peri is here, they will look for her. I don't want to disappoint them when they can't find her." Yoongi said.

Namjoon clapped his hands together, sending a powerful wave of sound and signaling the others to his motions. "Let's go! Let's turn it up!" Namjoon's voice boomed throughout the room, charging the room full of energy. 

The seven men got into their positions and waited for the background music to begin. Electricity could be felt in the air as the speakers began the song's first few chords. Even Peri, in the back of the room, could feel the power of the seven men coming to life. Her own body was becoming excited with what she was going to see. 

Namjoon took center stage, and Jungkook was right behind him. They were the only two that were in the center. The rest of BTS was off on the side, waiting for their cue. Namjoon looked straight ahead and gave a smile, showing off his dimples. 

"Welcome, first time to BTS?" Namjoon called out from his position. Peri lit up her mega-watt smile. 'Why yes, Namjoon. Yes, it is,' she thought.

Namjoon strolled off to the right, and Jungkook took the center. The man was there for all of ten seconds before he owned the room. Every person, including Peri, had their eyes on him. Jungkook finished his verse, and Jimin walked up from behind him. The attitude and stage presence made Peri forget her name for a second. 

The rest of the men circled Jimin when he concluded his lyrics. Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook took the first row. Jin, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Namjoon took the second row. All of their feet moved in perfect alignment with each other. Peri's eyes could focus because their feet were moving so rapidly. Their arms popped, locked, and glided flawlessly from one movement to the next. 

The second portion began when three of the members left, leaving Jungkook, Jimin, and Yoongi to stand next to the dance leader. Hoseok leads the charge into the next set of verses. 'Is his body made of jello? How does he move like that?' Peri wondered. Namjoon, Taehyung, and Jin came back, and it was now Yoongi's turn. He meant what he said to the other men. When his turn came up, he threw everything he had into his lyrics and movements—not faulting on anything he did. From his viewpoint, he could see Peri's mouth go slack.
