The Breast Milk: Part 1

Sarah's POV:

We're all gathered in the living room as Carol and Susan have brought Ben over for a visit. Monica walks out of her room with a tiny shopping bag.

Monica: "Ok, these were unbelievably expensive, and I know he's gonna grow out of them in like, 20 minutes, but I couldn't resist."

She pulls a pair of miniature Nike shoes from the bag.

Phoebe: "Oh, look at these! Hey, Ben. Just do it."

Then, Ben starts to cry.

Phoebe: "Oh my God, oh, ok, was that too much pressure for him?"

Susan: "Oh, is he hungry already?"

Carol: "I guess so."

Chandler: "You know, it's..."

Chandler pauses as he & Joey notice that Carol's begun breastfeeding Ben.

Chandler: "Something funny about sneakers. We'll be right back."

Ross follows Chandler & Joey into the kitchen before dragging them back into the living room.

Chandler: "Carol? I was just wondering if Joey could ask you a question about breast-feeding?"

Carol: "Sure."

Joey: "Uh, does it hurt?"

Carol: "It did at first, but not anymore."

Joey: "Chandler?"

Chandler: "So, uh, how often can you do it?"

Carol: "As often as he needs."

Joey: "Ok, I got one, I got one. Uh, if he blows into one, does the other one get bigger?"

{Time skip}

Everyone but Ross is hanging out at Central Perk, including Julie.

Julie: "Rachel, do you have any muffins left?"

Rachel: "Yeah, I forget which ones."

Julie: "Oh, you're busy, that's ok, I'll get it. Anybody else want one?"

We all say 'no' as Julie rises to walk over to the counter.

Julie: *to Rachel* "Oh, you're losin' your apron here, let me get it.-*ties it back up*-There you go."

Rachel: "Thank you.-*mutters*-What a bitch."

Julie comes back over with a muffin.

Julie: "Oh, listen you guys. I have this friend at Bloomingdale's who's quitting tomorrow and he wants to abuse his discount. So, anyone want to come with me and take advantage of it?"

Phoebe: "I can't, I have to take my grandmother to the vet."

Me: "I've got a trial."

Monica: *to Julie* "I'll go with you."

Julie: "Great."

Ross walks into the coffee house.

Ross: *to Julie* "Hi, honey."

Chandler: "Hey, sweetums."
