Chapter 6: The Accident

R:Tell me what Tia

T:mom and dad...

R: what about them

T:They got in to an accident in the aeroplane and well they didn't make it..

I immediately dropped my phone, I felt empty I just felt when everything was falling in to place everything was getting better, I froze I didn't know what to think, I felt this was some sort of bad dream I wanted it to. I just lost my mom and dad the most important people to me and they've gone I never got a chance to say goodbye..

"Heyy Ri, what's wrong?" Nate asked rubbing my thigh. "Nothing I'm fine" I stuttered shaking my head getting of his lap, quickly putting my shoes on." Ri I know there's something wrong tell me" Nate demanded rubbing my back. I stood up and ran out the house, I didn't really care that I was in my bed gear or that it was late at night, or i looked a mess, what I really cared about was the fact my parents have gone. I kept on running, I realised I left my phone back at Nates. "Riley!! Wait!" I heard him shout but I kept on running I wanted to be alone.

I kept looking back to see if he was still following, I arrived at mine and moms favourite place, it was a park but it had a beautiful lake, were swans and there ducks would swim, it had this beautiful blossom tree, blossoms was my moms favourite flower, I looked at the tree and I felt a tear trickle down my face. "Mom, dad why did you have to go" I cried burying my head in to my knees. I can't believe they have gone were am I and Tia suppose to go?

Tia's POV

I just got the most heartbreaking phone call anyone could ever imagine, mine and Riley's mom and dad have died in a aeroplane accident, I couldn't face Riley to tell her so I thought I'd ring her, this was going to be so hard.

Phone call

R: heey T you okay?

T: no not really? Are you sat down?

R: what's wrong? And yeah I am

T: this is going to be hard to tell you this

R: tell me what Tia?

T: mom and dad...

R: what about them...?

I heard Riley drop her phone and she didn't speak my heart was pounding so fast, I didn't want my sister to do anything crazy I just lost my parents I couldn't lose her to. I tried multiple of times ringing her back but there was no answer, I had Drew right next to me. "She's not answering drew" I cried getting panicky I felt his arms wrap around me "sshh babe everything's going to be okay" he soothed. "How can it be okay?! I lost my mom and dad and my sister won't answer her phone" I snapped with tears streaming down my face.

"Have you tried Nate's phone? Maybe he might know?" He asked still hugging. "Yeah your right" I sniffled wiping my tears before searching for Nate's number. I found and I managed to dial it. "Please pick up, please pick up" I sighed repeating myself. He finally picked up.

Phone call:

T: are you with Riley!

N: no, I was but after you rang she ran out the house, I tried running after her but she's too fast, what's on of?

T: oh god! Were are you?! I'll explain when I see you

N: I'm actually on the way to Drew's I thought she might of been with you

T: okay I'll meet you at the end of his street.

I put the phone down, putting my shoes on quickly, before putting my coat on. "You ready?" I asked turning to look at Drew. " yeah let's go" he replied taking my hand and squeezing it. We walked to the end of Drew's street to see a panicked Nate. "What's happened? What's up with Riley?!" He shouted I took a deep breathe and looked down.." Nate something bad has happened...mine and Riley's mom and dad...they've passed away they got in to an accident on there plane, I cried. "You have got to be joking I am so sorry Tia" he said shocked giving me a hug.I hugged back " I just want to find my sister " I cried biting on my bottom lip. "We will find her I promise" Drew reaausred me holding my hand tight.

We searched everywhere and I still couldn't find her, I'm getting worried we're that one place she liked going the most. The park! I turned to Nate and Drew "the park! She's at the park were the blossom tree is! " I shouted running to the direction to the park. I saw a dark shadowed figure on the bench, I heard little sobs I knew instantly it was Riley. I didn't shout as I knew it would of made her run. Nate was about to go and run to her but I pulled him back "Nate wait let me talk to her" I whispered. He nodded back in response

I started walking to Riley and sat beside her "Riley I am so sorry I wanted to tell you to your face but I couldn't" I whispered, "but you didn't, we lost our mom and dad, we got no one else were are we going to stay?" She cried looking at me. I looked at her and shrugged "I don't know Ri...maybe we could get an apartment? I stated. " no I want mom and dad back nothing else! How can you not be upset about this Tia! We lost our parents" she shouted standing up which caused Nate and drew to run over.

"I wish it was me in the plane crash" she cried, Nate held her close but she kept wriggling out his grip. "No Riley please don't say that! I need you" I cried hugging her tight I promise everything is going to be okay. "I'm scared Tia, I wish they were here" she cried pulling away from the hug. "Heey come here" Nate said opening his arms to give Riley a hug, I know he will look after her. I know he won't hurt her.

Sad part! poor Riley and Tia!! What are they going to do?
