Chapter 9: Time to say goodbye

Waking up felt like a nightmare today, that's because today was the day of my parents funeral, everytime I thought about it made me want to keep crying, and also my bestfriend is leaving, I know we have our ups and downs but he is still my bestfriend and I..and I love him and nothing can change that. Picking my self up from the bed I sat up and stared in to space, I can't forgive Nate for what he said..its going to take a lot of time.

After finally getting ready, our mom and dad they were bubbly people they wouldn't want us to wear black they would want us to wear something more colourful do I wore my leggings and a baggy jumper, I know your going to say that's not colourful but it was my moms favourite jumper. I never bothered with make up today, and as for my hair I left it to be natural today. You could say it was one of those days were you dont want to make effort. Walking downstairs to see Tia hugging Drew made me happy she was really lucky to have him, my bestfriends Tara,Taylor and Amelia are coming as well.

"You ready Ri?" Tia asked while I was walking downstairs, I nodded in response, we started walking towards the car, the whole journey was quiet, I turned to look at Tia who was resting her head on Drew's shoulder I let a smile slip which caused her to look. "What you smiling at Ri?" She asked "you and Drew, mom and dad would of been so happy for you both. Tia immediately took hold of my hand "we will get through this together promise" she said letting out a weak smile. "Ain't Nate coming?" Drew asked I immediately gave him daggers, "no he ain't his not welcome" I mumbled.

We was all sat in the place were they held the funeral, they were playing moms and dads favourite songs, such as bon jovi's always which was dads favourite song to moms which was Bette milder beneath my wings, soon as that played my tears took control and they started streaming down my face, mom always sung this to me to sleep. I turn to face Tia who was sobbing in to Drew's chest, I took hold of her hand, I stood up as I wrote something I walked to the stand and took out a peice of paper.

Hi mom, hey dad, I guess I never told you how much I loved you and mean to me, but I knew that you know I did, mom I will never forget our secret place you know the one with that beautiful blossom tree? I will always remember you singing me to sleep, you were my hero, I remember that time when me you dad and Tia was playing a game of monopoly and dad cheated and we all rugby tackled him. Dad you wear my rock, you were the best dad anyone could wish for, you would always pick me up from school and any were, you were always there when I needed someone. I got some news to tell you mom and dad, Drew and Tia finally are together, don't worry dad his looking after her. I got some news from me too I shared my first kiss with Nate! I know mom you always said we make a cute couple. I love you mom I love you dad, you will always be in mine and Tia's heart forever and always.

I looked up to see Tia's eyes start to fill with more tears, I walked up to her and took her hand, we walked to the coffin and finally said our goodbyes, but it wasn't a goodbye because they were still here in our hearts. Everyone started to walk to the coffin. We didn't bother doing a party afterwards, what was there to celebrate?

We all went to Drew's to get his suitcase, when my phone buzzed I took my phone out it was a message from Nate.

Message from Nate:

Hey Ri, sorry for being a dick lately, i wanted to come to today to support you, but I didn't think you wanted me there, I hope it went well, please come see me at the airport x

I didn't reply back he had hurt me way to much, you don't talk to someone like that, Drew was already to leave soo of to the airport we go two goodbye in one day is not great. The car journey there was more lively and that was a good thing we all started to sing wild heart by The Vamps "Tonight we'll dance I'll be yours and you'll be mine"

We finally arrived at the airport, Tia and Drew were too busy kissing saying there goodbyes you know being all loved up, gosh I was jealous. Nate walked up to me,Tara, Taylor and Amelia. "Hey, you came" he smiled going in to hug me. I backed away "what do you think your doing? I didn't come to see you go, I'm here for Drew" I said kind of really bitchy. "Ri...give him a break" Amelia sighed rolling her eyes. Tara's eyes shot to Amelia "Dont you blame her? After what he said? He called her selfish, a bitch and he glad her parents have gone." She snapped.

"If your thinking of taking his side Amelia then why don't you go" Taylor said shaking her head. "No I'm just saying, maybe they should hug it out before he goes.. She will regret it" Amelia sighed. She was right. I would be but no he needs to show his sorry. "Girls don't argue because of me...when Ri wants to talk I'll be there, whether its through face time or call or text, I'll be there.

" Rileeeeeeeyyyy" Madison screamed running towards me. "Hey" I smiled. "How come you and Nate ain't together no more...you two were cute..." She pouted. I couldn't hurt her so I said we were "what you talking about Madison? We are" I smiled walking over to Nate wrapping my arms around him. "Oooh good" she squealed giving Nate a hug before running of to Drew.

I turned to face Nate. "We ain't together, I just don't want to see her hurt, I will never forgive what you said it hurt Nate" I said trying not to cry. "I am sorry Ri" he pouted. It was time for the boys to go on there tour, Tia was in bits seeing Drew go she was hugging kacey like she was a teddy bear, Madison was crying in to me, before Nate got on to the plane he turned to look at me, I looked away.
